This cozy, eclectic restaurant quickly became a destination for those who appreciated Chef Davin’s creative approach to celebrating local and responsibly sourced fish and produce. In addition to a set sushi menu, Wrench offers an omakase as well as a list of specials that change daily. The team is committed to reducing waste and enhancing flavor by elevating all cuts of fish and veggies, as well as featuring a diverse range of species. Many menu items are simple, fresh and creative, with a lesser-known fish species complimented by ingredients from the backyard garden. Byproduct utilization drives the menu as well, and recent explorations with aging techniques have led to a dry aged fish program. Plant-forward preparations are also celebrated, and a vegan omakase is available upon request.

Every single thing about this place is amazing. The passion, the energy and ambiance of this place is seriously something everyone needs to experience. The chefs from behind the counter shouting out their orders and taking the time to make every meal perfect is something you don’t get at a lot of places, these people cared about every aspect of your experience. Our server was Jayden, and words can’t explain how friendly and cool this dude was, I’ve never had a server speak with the passion and energy that he has, it felt like he was close friend of mine. I seriously cannot wait to be back here.

Omgosh devine! We started with the crab cakes. They were light and rich in flavor, topped with a scallop. Absolutely delicious. My husband had the seafood pasta. We were surprised at the amazing smokey flavor. It was my favorite. (Yes, I made him share!) I had the pan seared sea bass. It was so flavorful. It was light, the perfect meal for me. Service was impeccable. We will be returning.

A superb experience. Miyako and David were our servers for the evening, and they could not be more wonderful. It's evident that all the servers are well-versed in the menu, as they should be at a restaurant at this caliber. If I had to list the dishes in order of being my favorite, they would be the tuna crudo, butter poached halibut, brioche bread with herb butter, and the quail. We also got the veal tartare, the pork, and both the baba au rum and rhubard desserts, and while they were both good, they did not knock our socks off like the aforementioned courses. Is it pricey? Yes, but is it worth it? For a special occasion, I'd say so. It's easy to see why they earned a Michelin star. I hope to be back soon.
