- OTOpenTable DinerAustin •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoMy most recent meal at Sweet Basil was one of the best I have had there, yet. I like this restaurant, but as with any restaurant, there are some meals that are better than others. Last night we had a wonderful meal- the caramelized onion lasagna and the crab pasta dish. Both were exceptional and served piping hot, which is not easy to do in the cold mountains.More infoSweet Basil - VailPrice: Very Expensive• American• Vail•4.6

The second gal liked the walleye, but thought a lot of breading. My chicken salad was good, but preferred last year’s preparation more. The apple pie was a surprise winner, as we weren’t sure about the addition of bacon.More infoMountain StandardPrice: Expensive• American• Vail•4.7

She made several suggestions, that we accepted, and was spot on! The food presentation was creative and the food delicious!More infoMatsuhisa VailPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Vail•4.8
- AAshleeDallas - Fort Worth •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a wonderful dining experience at Slope Room tonight! We took the recs from Jackie, our waitress (although she made us feel like a friend by the end of the night!) and ordered the cornbread & beef tartare for starters. They were both innovative and delicious! We then had the trout and Yukon gold mashed potatoes for our entree! The trout was light and touched on all the different palate notes! We ended the night with the s’mores baked Alaska which was divine! We loved our meal and the service and will definitely plan on returning the next time we are in Vail! MIKE FROM INDIANA…. YOU DEFINITELY MISSED THE MARK ON THIS RESTAURANT! 😂More infoSlope RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Vail•4.7
