Wonderful restaurant! Comfortable and casual dining with exceptional food. The prime rib was absolutely delightful, most of us got that and we were very impressed. Great cocktail selection and a fantastic happy hour too. We were really impressed with the desserts as well, we loved the affogato, carrot cake, and espresso martinis. Exceptional service, they really let you chill and enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed. We will be back!

River and Woods is one of our favorites, and this visit did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Gabby is a fantastic server who is clearly interested in making sure her guests have a great experience, and Maddie is super knowledgeable about wine and is super customer-oriented. First, I love the energy of the staff -- they seemed happy to be there, and each was so knowledgeable about all facets of the food. The general manager helped us find a very good bottle to enjoy with our food (I liked the wine so much I bought half a dozen bottles when I got back home to Texas). From the beginning, our food was so good, beginning with the olives and the bread. The bread! Everyone at the table uttered a soft moan when eating the bread. The desserts also sang, including the olive oil ice cream and the smoky vanilla ice cream. Many other highlights. Well done, Basta!

The tuna was amazing as were the sweet potatoes! The hibiscus margaritas were also great
