We are from North Carolina, but Hau Tree restaurant is one restaurant we are always sure to visit when in Honolulu and has been for years. Great food, friendly and attentive staff, and perfect setting.

We love visiting a Monkey Pod when we see one. This was my first time at the Waikiki location and it was just as great. Service was good everyone was very friendly. My boyfriend who visits often says they always have the best singer playing live music no matter what night it is. We asked about a military discount since we like to keep track of who has them and they gave him 10% off which was really appreciated. You have to try the Mai Tai, it blows all the others out of the water. And i love the macadamia nut mahi, never disappoints here.

Holy smokes ! Blown away ! Our server Shelly (sp) was amazing ! Her recommendation of the Tataki salad was 100000% spot on . With the bread and sauces to start , followed by that salad , we couldn’t imagine it getting better . Enter the butternut squash risotto. To the moon ! Followed by the eye steak Korean style . We had so much fun on our impromptu date . Thank you Shelly for making our day amazing ! Can not wait to come back ! The spicy kitty is a must get as well as the house soda .
