"Delicious Neapolitan pizza made by a great pizzaiolo certified by the AVPN. We tried a red and white which were both great. It was over 100 degrees F. in Mountain View, so even with the AC on, it was still warm in the restaurant. I guess a 900 degree oven emits a fair amount of heat :). We went for pizza so did not try any of the other menu items. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Service was very attentive. Wine prices are a high, so we brought our own and paid corkage. "Visiting friends from Tacoma, WA were impressed with the array of special preparations of Japanese food which they’d never tried before. Trout preparations (as sashimi in the trout and avocado roll and seared as part of the Bushido roll) were new taste experiences for all of us. The happy hour pricing for garlic edamame, the trout & avocado roll, and the grilled vegetables was an added bonus, available until 6:20 pm. Hiroshima style okonomiyaki was also happily shared, taking advantage of the option of 1/2 and 1/2 sauces to try both the traditional way and the shiodare (with lemon & salt). Finding parking was a challenge around Castro Street on Friday night but well worth the meal."See more

"There were 7 in our group. We got the table we had requested, and our server was BEYOND wonderful! She managed to get us all fed and out the door in plenty of time for our theatre reservations. 3 of us ordered the Branzino, which was fabulous. We will keep coming back!"See more

"Steins food is good and they have a great selection of beers rotating monthly. Their burger is a custom blend of beef cuts with good taste and juicyness. I ordered Maytag blue on my burger for $2 extra and Inwas disappointed at the small amount of cheese added. My wife had the pastrami reuben which was well done.
