- Wwillow54VIPNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoDriving up to Forc it has a very retro look. Books and covers. It is one of the best restaurants in Hawaii. An extraordinary dining experience. The staff greeted us as a new friend to be made. The bartender was imaginative and very creative creating something special for us. The goat tacos were good and am happy to recommend them though they are not for every one. The lamb chops were some of the best I have ever eaten. Wonderful blend of spices and perfectly cooked local lamb. A very generous portion as well. The steak made from local beef was excellent too. Almost everything on the menu was locally sourced. Nothing frozen here. The waitress was so on top of things that when someone spilled on their shirt she was there with club soda before they even knew it. The owner/chef came out and chatted with us covering so many topic as if we knew each other for years. He truly was interested in what we had to say. At $188 for two with drinks it was a bargain for quality. Most certainly a far better deal than eating at any hotel on the Big Island. The food was as good as any I have had in New York City or any major restaurant capital and better than most. I can't say enough good things about Forc. If food means something to you then go to Forc.More infoFORCPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kamuela•4.7
- VVickiVIPNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined on May 11, 2025Sushi Hana’s omakase is an epicurean experience. The sushi was prepared with such care and we were educated on each fish and its preparation. All of the fish was imported from Japan and was absolutely fresh. The sushi chef was trained for many years and takes great pride in his preparation. The owner is truly all about the experience. It’s hard to get in but not to be missed.More infoSUSHI HANAPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Kamuela•5
