Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options. Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere.     We were on the patio, which is lovely -- shaded and with a breeze. Ashley was our server; she is always excellent. We had wine (the sparkling rosé and Gruner vetliner), a cheese plate, and two specials -- the paté and the gazpacho, all of which were delicious. The evening was lovely, the food and wine are exceptional, and the service is high quality and personable. Overall, such a pleasant evening. Thank you.

    Me and my friends attended Milk and Honey for brunch due to hearing great things about it. The restaurant exceeded expectations with its delicious food, kind staff, and great prices. Will definitely be back and we have already recommended it to both family and friends. (P.S. The smothered chicken and biscuits were incredible)
