Love this place. Food is amazing. Service is great.

From the moment we arrived at Flagstaff House, it was clear we were in for a special evening. The panoramic views overlooking Boulder are absolutely breathtaking and set the perfect tone for a refined dining experience. The service was polished yet warm—every member of the staff was attentive without being intrusive. The tasting menu was thoughtful and beautifully executed. Each course was artfully plated and balanced in flavor, with locally sourced ingredients shining through. The wine pairing was equally impressive, with the sommelier offering insight that enhanced the entire experience. Standout dishes included the dry-aged duck and the scallop crudo, both of which were exceptional in taste and presentation. While it's certainly a fine-dining splurge, the experience at Flagstaff House is worth every penny. It’s an ideal spot for celebrating something special—or simply treating yourself to world-class cuisine with an unforgettable view.

Fabulous! My favorite is the Ruby red roll. Negi Hama White fish and scallops. So good!

River and Woods is one of our favorites, and this visit did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Gabby is a fantastic server who is clearly interested in making sure her guests have a great experience, and Maddie is super knowledgeable about wine and is super customer-oriented.
