Restaurants near Dunsmuir House and Gardens

We ordered table side guacamole and a mangonada - Best part of the night! The waiter made the guac according to our preferences which was so nice. For mains, we did chicken enchiladas and veggie enchiladas (asked for spinach, cheese, and the green sauce for the veggie enchiladas). Unfortunately, the veggie enchiladas came with red sauce and spinach only (no cheese) inside of the enchiladas. We asked for a waterside booth on our OpenTable reservation and they saved us just this! Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating but was running thin. Aside from the tasty food and great server, the restaurant was dirty (food on our table and booth) and took very long for the food/drinks/cutlery to come out. They were severely understaffed on a Saturday night!

I have been coming here for more than 30 years and was disappointed when I arrived with a reservation, to be seated in the bar. There is a large dining room. Our server was attentive and I was given a free dessert for my birthday but my girlfriend did not like the Cajun pasta dish. The overall experience was lacking.

We sat at the bar and had a wonderful dining experience with Marco the bartender providing great information about the drinks and pairings for Wine. The selection of appetizers and entrées were varied and delicious dessert was mouthwatering really good and overall fantastic experience.

Excellent service. Waitress was Nicole and she was super attentive , food was hot and delicious, and great atmosphere. One of my favorite places for dinner!

Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Really interesting and delicious Thai food. The tuna tartare was amazing! The only thing was the pad Thai was a little too sweet. We will try the drunken noodles next time. That looked delicious and most of the patrons ordered it. I would recommend this place for sure!
