As always, our dining experience was perfect. We enjoyed a scrumptious meal thanks to Chef Henry and his staff. Everything was prepared superbly. Whatever Chef Henry touches is golden. We look forward to our next visit in the near future when we can sample his seasonal specials. Merci beaucoup!

It's been over forty years since we had been to this mainstay in Portland dining, and it did not disappoint! Not to be missed? The onion rings, of course! And, while we did not order the wedge salad, I certainly will the next time. The top sirloin - baseball cut - was terrific, and I've never met a potato I didn't like. I did bring half of each of them home to enjoy for lunch the next day, but that's half the fun of too much food! Our waiter was excellent, the cocktails (house Manhattan) and wine were too. The hallmark of a good steakhouse, I believe, is there should be a quiet, clubby vibe - and the Ringside fulfills this to a tee. I can't wait to go back (and, I'm NOT waiting another 40-years!

Beautiful restaurant in an old Victorian home. The staff is friendly and very attentive. We both had the steak tartare and it was delicious. The portions were very reasonable. A little bit of France in the Oregon wine country. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great meal and experience.

Bread was dry. Halibut dry. Our server Brandon was excellent, however while he was talking to us, another server rudely walked between us. Also, for those who don’t like fish, more than two alternative main dishes should be offered. Yes, it’s a beach restaurant, but I know I wouldn’t bring a good friend there who doesn’t like fish. The breakfast menu was limited to one soft scrambled egg dish. Really? But I’m willing to give it another try. Ambiance was nice.
