- SSueIowa •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful evening. Beautiful location. Not a bad seat in the place. If there was any complaint, it would be the windows were a little dirty, but with the sea salt in the air, probably a challenge to keep clean. Also be aware there is a 4% Kitchen charge added to the bill. Just something to be aware of when it comes to tipping. Would highly recommend this restaurant.More infoBeach House Restaurant- KauaiPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Poipu•4.6

- JJoevipLos Angeles •40 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoExcellent greeters are friendly & courteous. The waiter, Todd, very attentive and excellent customer satisfaction. The atmosphere was perfect with live Hawaiian music. Originally, ordered prime rib medium rare, only medium was being served. Filet was the only alternative. I accepted. Overall, restaurant is highly recommended.More infoKeoki's ParadisePrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Poipu•4.6

- BBillLas Vegas •320 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024QUICK REVIEW: Nice view and location, Great service, Cuisine always great. Solid 4.8 Stars. Recommend. YES, we will be back. LONGER REVIEW: We travel extensively, and have been to Eating House 1849 (and Roy's), many times. Decided to come back. SERVICE: Seated promptly at reservation time at a nice table overlooking the ocean. Great view. Jason - our main server - was Awesome. He was there when you needed him, with a great attitude and advice. Nice job! FOOD and COCKTAILS. Had a Hawaiian Martini, Red wine by the glass and a Port for dessert. Wine, cocktail and beer list adequate for the venue. Pork rib appetizer to share, Butterfish and Ahi for entrees. All perfectly cooked, and nothing left on the plate. Very tasty. The lava cake to share at the end - all gone. OVERALL: Eating House is always nice, with a slightly more limited menu than Roy's. We are big Roy Yamaguchi fans, and tonight's dinner was pleasant as expected with all of his restaurants. Highly recommend. Only downside was a screaming baby in the background, but hey - this is a family place. YES, we would go back. Worth the little trek to Koloa/Poipu.More infoEating House 1849 - KauaiPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Koloa•4.6
