1 of 2 two places to eat at the Ojo Caliente resort. Excellent food and service. Very good and you are pretty much captive. Had the New York Strip, wine, soup, and salad. All very good and tasty. Service was great. It will be remembered.

We ordered 3 meals. One, the Bison Short rib, was very tasty and tender. The other two fell short. One of us ordered the beet and goat cheese salad topped with salmon. Very tiny little pieces of beets and goat cheese - essentially, it was a kale salad. The salmon was overly salty. Of course, our waiter made it right and brought out a fresh piece of salmon, which was more to my friend’s liking. I ordered the trout with green chile crema. It was quite dry, and I requested some butter or more crema to add some much needed moisture to the fish. The cocktails were well made and enjoyable, and the service was fine, but I was a bit disappointed with our meal overall.

Thank you for a lovely dining experience. Lidia. our server who we request each time we dine there, was just as cordial and helpful as usual. Always a pleasure with her. Food was quite delicious and done to perfection. Prices were quite reasonable for a steak house. See you again in around three weeks.
