- SSilkeSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe pesto appetizer is excellent. We oedred the Crab Brandada and the Chicken Livers, and both were delicious. Also delicious was the decaf coffee we had. His is a place I recommend to my friends because they know how to cook and how to run a classy restaurant.More infoCascalPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• Mountain View•4.6
- JJeanVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •35 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went for a belated Valentine’s Day celebration and they still had their Valentine’s Day pre-fix menu, so we ordered that plus a few extra appetizers and drinks. The overall experience was fantastic — from the ambience of the dining room to the food and drinks, and the wonderful service! Appetizers: - Seared scallops with beetroot risotto - the scallops were delicious but a tiny bit tough to the bite. The red risotto was on point, especially the color for Valentine’s Day. - Maitake mushrooms - deep fried to perfection. If I didn’t know they were mushrooms, I would have thought this dish tasted like fried oysters from the famous Clam Box in Ipswich, MA. - jumbo cocktail shrimp - the shrimp was indeed jumbo; there were five whole pieces of shrimp Mains: - surf and turf - large lobster (delicious!) and prime bone-in ribeye (upgrade, totally worth it, so tender and well-cooked!) - side of asparagus - large pieces, boiled. - side of truffle mashed potatoes (upgrade) - portion isn’t large for the price, but it was delicious! Dessert was the pre-fix menu dessert - chocolate tarte with alcohol-infused blueberry. The blueberry was very interesting and unique. Drinks - the suggested drink pairing (berry bliss?) was fantastic!More infoFleming's Steakhouse - Santa ClaraPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Santa Clara•4.6

- AAndySan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoVisited on Valentine’s Day and was not disappointed. Cocktails at the bar, Gin Blossom and an Old Fashioned. The barman made a wonderful recommendation for a rye whisky. Dinner after was Halibut and Lamb Ragu. My wife said the halibut was cooked perfectly. My lamb ragu was very tasty. Staff were very attentive throughout. We have supported Scratch a lot since lockdown, possibly the nicest venue on Castro if you like a stylish venue with good food and quality drinks. Ambiance can suffer though if it is quiet.More infoScratch (Mtn View)Price: Expensive• American• Mountain View•4.4
