I dined for a late breakfast and Landys took wonderful care of me. I was terribly rude and walked in while I was on a phone call, and she was still so sweet and brought me coffee and water. I had a working breakfast so I was on my computer and even stayed almost an hour after I had finished eating, and the entire stay was extremely welcoming and friendly. The oatmeal was great and filling. I definitely recommend for a casual breakfast spot. Great for solo business traveler and beyond. MoreOpenTable Diner -

We chose Birraporettis because we were going to the theater. When we arrived early they had no problem accommodating all 6 of us. The starters were wonderful - the escargot was delicious and the mushrooms were mouthwatering. Each lady ordered a different entree and we shared lasagna, pasta peretti, chicken picatta, beef medallions-tenderloins, pollo perriti , crab cakes. Topped it off with cappuccino and dessert. Service was outstanding! This will be our go to for future pre theater dinner. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Visited for a business celebration. The set up at the 43rd is great for this given all the small rooms they have for dining that allow for easy, quiet conversation amongst your party. Service was prompt and friendly. All in attendance enjoyed their meals and dessert. Prices were in line with other finer dining establishments in downtown Houston. MoreOpenTable Diner -
El Big Bad is a casual fun bar, there is a louder, busier downstairs area and a quieter upstairs area including outdoor seating when the weather is nice. It's not fancy, but the staff were super nice and helpful, the food is fun and delicious. The margaritas were fantastic. We were able to grab a quick meal before the theater, in and out, no problem! Fantastic experience at Line and Lariat. Four of us had a late dinner on Tuesday night. Service was very attentive. Great mojito and Manhattan. Tenderloin dish got rave reviews from my husband. Red snapper was heavenly too. Our guests from NYC commented on the beauty of the setting and the gorgeous lobby of the Hotel Icon and the dining area. Quiet, easy to have a private conversation, but lively too and lots of space between the tables. Comfortable, great food, great service, beautiful historic building, subdued lighting with no headache-y glare, no loud music. In a word, PERFECT. We'll be back! Ann Cook MoreOpenTable Diner -
