Amazing experience! Everyone there was incredibly respectful. The Brussels Sprouts were delicious! My family enjoyed their steaks, but wished there was a little bit more seasoning that they were cooked more accurately as far as temperature. It was very loud in the restaurant, but we still had a great time. Definitely a great place to have a date or celebrate with family and friends, and make some memories!

Service was excellent. Food was well prepared and seasoned well. Starters Peruvian ceviche and the angry scorpion roll were very tasty! The Toro Toro churrasco sampler was a good survey of the restaurant’s grilled specialties - a great choice and filled our party of four. Thanks for a super pre-concert dinner.

This was my first time visiting the Foundation Room in Houston. I was pleastantly surprised by the welcoming staff and warm ambiance. It was a very intimate setting perfect for a date or special night out. The dining are was small with comfortable nooks and booths. The menu was eclectic and could be a little intimidating for non-foodie. I first ordered the Vindaloo Tacos with Duck Confit but they were out, so I ordered to Cider Beets that featured one of my favorite stinky cheeses, Humbolf Fog. My guests' order the Thai Shrimp Lettuce Wraps and the Short Ribs which were both very tasty. The portion sizes were surprisingly very small for the price. I highly recommend ordering 2 for each person if this is your meal before the show. Now, the service was quite slow. We thought we would have time to lounge in the bar before the show but dinner when well after showtime. Also, the tickets and the website didn't mention any preshow. That went on for 1.5 to 2 hours before the headliner. They were amazing. But the bars near the stage didnt have the options for cocktails like the Fountage Room did. Finally, DO NOT BUY the $10 prepaid parking spot, it is way far from the entrance. It is much more convenient to pay $13 for Valet right around the corner from door.

I wish I remembered the waitress name but she was great! It was a good ambiance and we were able to carry a conversation around lunch time on a weekday. It is inside the Laura Hotel. We had the lunch special which was an appetizer, main and a dessert. The Brussels sprouts > wings > mac and cheese, but all were solid. The main course we both got the braised rib over collard and sweet potato mash. My sister thought the mash too closely resembled baby food in appearance and texture. However she enjoyed the collards and rib. I thought the collards were undercooked but the mash was ok to me and the rib was good. The dessert was very small, which I didn’t mind too much because I’m always looking for just the taste of dessert and not necessarily the calories that go along with it. Overall, it was a solid experience.
