- CChippyHouston •16 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLong overdue for a visit to what has Always been my favorite steakhouse in H-town. Have been a fan for more than 20 years. Even the valet noted that it had been a while since I visited. A very nice "welcome back"! Coy is the absolute BEST. Pappas Bros is worth it.More infoPappas Bros. - TtriciaDenver / Colorado •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAbsolutely amazing evening. We sat in the lower bar, high tables Sat 7. Jane was our server. From the moment we sat down, absolutely everything was impeccable. I was with my boyfriend & by best girlfriend & we were celebrating years of friendship. We ordered a bottle of 2013 Dom Perignon With a starter of caviar and the deviled eggs. The three of us had steak of different sorts with sides of brussels sprouts and cream corn Brulé The food was top notch. My girlfriend and I are international flight attendants, myself having 34 years and my girlfriend 28 and we observed in detail the service of Jane and her colleagues and it was on point down to each detail. She never struggled with any of the menu items as far as recommendations, off menu entrées. I cannot express how impressed we were with her service and particular, but also the service of the staff in general. We actually try a different restaurant and try to make it the highest caliber each month but this by far has been the most impressive in both food and service. Thank you greatly for a wonderful evening. Tricia Garry SalisburyMore infoSteak 48 - HoustonPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• River Oaks•4.9

- GGracevipHouston •123 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI've been dining at Rumi's Kitchen since 2007, their very first location in Sandy Springs, GA. I used to live just a few minutes down the street from them. I now live in Houston and every time I travel back to Atlanta, my first stop is always Rumi's, now in a much bigger space. I haven't tried the other two locations yet in the Atlanta area. When I heard about them opening up a location here, I was there on their first opening day and saw Ali, the owner, there. We talked about the good old days when he first started his business and the struggles they experienced. I am SO glad his restaurants are now very successful and I will continue to be a faithful patron. I should mention about the food...everything is delicious!More infoRumi's Kitchen - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Persian• Galleria / Uptown•4.9

Discover Far Westheimer
Far Westheimer’s dining scene features both budget-friendly and pricey cuisine options. From seafood and steaks to classic Mexican fare, the area has your food needs covered. When the seafood chowder is made from scratch, you know it’s something special. Be sure to try it along with the bisque and shellfish. This is the Houston area, and so the steak is plentiful. Order a 10-ounce strip steak or the 14-ounce rib eye. When it comes to Mexican food, options range from classic to contemporary-style menu items. Crispy tacos filled with chicken or beef fall into the classic category while Baja-style fish tacos are on the contemporary side.
