Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Marco Island's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
Special vote goes to our waiter who was very attentive and made us feel welcome. There were no disappointments other than our having a reservation and our being on time and having to watch a couple being seated outside (where we would have preferred) even though they had no reservations. It seems to us to be a poor business tactic. We'll still return because every else was excellent! MoreOpenTable Diner -
This was our second time dining at Sal e Pepe - we loved it so much the first time, we had to go back. Service is impeccable - love the old school Italian vibes with young Italian waiters and a gentlemen crushing frank sinatra tunes during dinner. Ambience is gorgeous - we watched a beautiful sunset - food was even better - caprese, Caesar salads beautifully prepared. Saffron linguine with Bologna’s to die for - my husband and I had the Halibut, fresh and light with delicious flavor and peas that popped in your mouth, our daughter had filets that they claim were the best they ever had. Pricey but worth it! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Ladies who greeted us were lovely - service was good. Food was great. Two of us had grouped with crab - delicious. Our daughters had chicken francaise - very well prepared and the were able to accommodate my youngest who has celiac. Everything was very flavorful! This isn’t our first time and it won’t be our last - would love to see a little more variety in the appetizer area but small wish for an otherwise fantastic place! MoreOpenTable Diner -
This was our first time eating at Marco Prime and the food was delicious. We chose to eat inside - outside was a bit of a “scene” - looked fun and lively but we were looking more for a family birthday dinner ambience. Beautiful inside - very attentive server - food was delicious - we all had steaks cooked perfectly, sides were yummy. Also very accommodating to our daughter who has celiac! We would go back! Discover Marco Island
One of the largest islands in Florida’s Ten Thousand Islands area, this resort town features an array of dining choices from casual to fine dining. Locally caught seafood is available. Ask the chef to have it sautéed, blackened or grilled. Consider the herb encrusted tuna entrée, presented with a mango papaya salsa and served with an Asian potato salad, puréed carrots and a dab of wasabi aioli. Elsewhere, savor the Caribbean barbecued baby back ribs, a true regional delight, marinated in a pungent mojo criollo sauce and slow-roasted for flavor. Those wanting a lighter fare will be delighted by the tangy watermelon salad, made with onions, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese and dressed with a citrus vinaigrette. In Marco Island, enjoy great cuisine as you watch the setting sun.
