Da Vinci Ristorante
If I just considered the entree I would have rated the food higher. I had a Salad with my meal. Lettuce was wilty and croutons were mushy. Dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle. The chicken stagioni on the other hand Was excellent. Chicken was tender and moist. Demi glaze was flavorful and not overbearing. Peppers and mushroom were flavorful and enhanced the dish. Potatoes and broccoli well we’ll prepared. Service excellent. Would go back but might avoid the salad.
As always when we go to DaVinci the food is excellent and the waiter very friendly and accommodating.
We recommend DaVinci to all our guests and business partners and everybody loves it.
We have been coming to Marco for 8 years on vacation and have seen this place change and grow. Keep doing what you are doing . Wonderful food and place . For diners coming from the other side of Marco there is a free taxi service .
If anything that needs to change is the staff need to interact more with customers. We came for the second time on Friday and our server was the first one to talk to us about where we came from (England) and were we having a good vacation (other than the owners) . Good opportunity also to plug your other restaurants on the island . See you next year
Jennifer was an excellent server. Her recommendations were spot on. I chose and do not recommend the Cesar salad, my only regret.
Food was excellent -- the homemade pasta was delicious. I had spaghetti con salsa rosa, would highly recommend. Strawberry basil margarita was tasty and stout. Service was good, just had a long lag time between salads and entrees. Overall would recommend, especially to pasta lovers.
One of the best Italian restaurants on Marco Island. The pasta taste homemade and they have great daily specials. I ordered fresh sautéed flounder with risotto. My husband ordered the Lasagna and both dishes were delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.
We have been coming here for many years and continue to be a fan however the number one thing they need to improve upon is the bread and olive oil. Other than the greeters and waitress your first impression is the bread and dipping oil. If that was all I ate I would never come back. The olive oil was harsh, and the bread was minor league at best. This is like putting low octane fuel in a Maserati! Also, where is the Parmesan wheel for infused pasta dishes? Another small point the menu shows $11 for a glass of Chianti but they charged me $12.
Now that I am past that part, the rest of the meal was outstanding! We started with the Mona Lisa salad ($12) and the special seafood salad ($16). Note that the seafood salad is like a Peruvian ceviche. The Mona Lisa salad includes endive, arugula, radicchio, olives, tomatoes and Gorgonzola cheese with homemade lemon and oil dressing … excellent. The special seafood salad came with calamari, large shrimp, small shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops in a radicchio shell. Also excellent.
Our entrees were the Salmone ($26) and Zuppa di Pesce ($32) which I asked to be made spicy. Both were outstanding. The salmon dish was seared Scottish salmon over a bed of European cucumbers tossed with lemon olive oil citrette and scalloped potato. My “Zuppa” dish came with white shrimp, mussels, middleneck clams, calamari and grouper, which was the fish of the day. I loved everything about the dish especially the sauce however a lot of it went wasted because I refused to use their lousy bread to sop it up! Sorry but it is a sore spot. Note that two other restaurants right by you, Fin and La Tavola have great rolls and dipping oil. Find out where they get it and make a much-needed change. Your customers deserve better.
For dessert we had a wonderful coconut panna cotta.
Note they highlight their pizza as the only wood fired pizza on the island. Be wary because it is very small (9-10”) and pricey. A negative value item.
I took my husband for his birthday and it was wonderful, they didn't charge us for the spumoni and it was huge and enough for two. I always get the duck and their bay kale salad is the best salad I've had anywhere in a long time. Lina our server was excellent. DaVinci's is a jewel on Marco Island that you don't want to miss.
We went for a family dinner while on vacation and had a wonderful time. We sat outside on a beautiful evening, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Had a fab meal and really enjoyed everything about this restaurant - service was exceptional and food was outstanding
We eat at DaVinci's every year when we vacation at Marco Island. It is hard to beat in the selection and the quality of the food. don't miss it, great ambiance, great food and great value!
The Chicken Marsala was delicious as was the Chicken Parm. Our server was excellent.
Very good food and very attentive service. Kids meals came out quickly which is always a plus.
Vacation on Marco every year and we eat here several times. Great friendly service & food is consistently very good. Excellent pizza !
Delicious meal, we loved our pasta dishes, salads were fresh and great Cabernet. The ambience was family oriented vs romantic, tons of kids in the summer atleast... Service was good.
We were at Marco Island for a business trip and were recommended to the Da Vinci Ristorante. We were not disappointed. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the restaurant provided a very good atmosphere for our dinner. Totally recommend.
Heard great things about DaVinci’s and am a believer. We had a wonderful dinner with friendly and attentive service and returned the next night for the same. Jessica and Jennifer add to the dining experience. The wood fired pizza alone is worth the trip.
This was our second visit to Verdi’s. It was every bit as wonderful as the first visit several days ago. My husband had the Sea Bass and it was once again excellent. I had the Ahi Tuna and it was wonderful! I also had the roasted cauliflower soup. I have never tasted any soup so incredibly delicious! If ever on Marco Island definitely try Verdi’s Bistro. You won’t be sorry!
Best chicken parm ever
The only negative comment I have was the 1 hour+ delay in our food being served otherwise, we will return
We ate outside...which we LOVE! Inside can be noisy. Food is always GOOD! The staff is SO friendly. A GREAT PLACE. WE love the valet parking too.
The atmosphere was great. All of the food was outstanding, and Bobby helped make our dinner and evening wonderful. My tortellaci was amazing, thank you for suggesting it.
Always a great dining experience. I tried a new dish for me Quatre Stragioni it was delicious.
Food is always good here but this time it was probably the best meal I’ve eaten out all year. Thumbs up to Da Vinci’s
always good food and service best chickem parm on the island and very good strawberry basil margaritta.
Excellent food and service. Great outdoor dining space.
My experience overall was very pleasant and memorable. Our selection for an evening meal was quite good. We enjoyed the local feel of the restaurant placement - cool and lively.
Our waitress was excellent. The booth we were in was a tad small and very warm. They needed to close the front door. We were sweating. Our food was great. Caesar salad was superb! Very accommodating restaurant! Will definitely go back
We love Da Vinci's it's a regular for us! However, the service was lacking this time. Usually it's outstanding as well. Must have been an off night! We'll be back!
Nice lively atmosphere but a little loud. We were seated right by the bar even though we had booked a day in advance. Our waiter was excellent! He was accommodating, knowledgeable, and even brought out a complimentary dessert for my Mom's birthday. The food was good - not outstanding, but good. My husband ordered the fish special and the fish did not seem very fresh - it was mushy and tasted kind of fishy. The rest of our meals were good though.
Food was excellent.
Accordion player better.
Would highly recommend
Great meals. We ate there 2x in one week. I would recommend the seafood. I had grouper one night and Zuppa Depesci another
Excellent place to meet up for a wonderful dinner and fun staff!!
The pasta was fresh and excellent as was the very salad. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Ivon, the host, was a pleasure to speak with and very gracious.
I would definitely recommend dining at Di Vinci at least once while you are staying on Marco Island
Ate indoors due to bad weather. Food was great. Server was outstanding. Very knowledgeable of the menu and prep methods as well as good timing at the table. Lots of runners and other assist. Overall, very pleasant experience. Make a reservation.
Amazing food. We visit Marco every year..and we ALWAYS visit. Our server and food was exceptional. The girl that waited on us was very personable and super friendly.
Dined on the patio, very pleasant courtyard. Service very good. Food was excellent, best crabcakes I have ever had, pastas done properly, chicken parm was huge (my daughter could barely eat half) and very tasty (not at all greasy). The apple crisp doesn't look all that special but the taste was amazing. Enjoyed it so much we returned a second time during our week on Marco Island.
Our table was ready when we arrived. The service was exceptional. Our waitress Ivana, was attentive but not obtrusive. The food was first rate. And to top off the meal it was one of our party’s birthday. At the end of the meal they brought out a fantastic dessert. It was a first rate experience all around.
We are visitors to the island and didn’t know what to expect. Let me just say, it was excellent! The pasta is all homemade and the red sauce was outstanding. Our waiter was excellent. Do not forget the homemade dessert even if you split it. Just note, the portion size is very large so plan on taking 1/2 home. If you don’t have a refrigerator or a way to reheat, I would suggest splitting. I got lasagna, my friends got bolognese and an outstanding tortellini dish and my husband got chicken parm (huge and delicious). I would highly recommend Da Vinci Restorante.
