- DDennisVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •234 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe dined on my partner's birthday. We were seated at a booth decorated with a Happy Birthday card. Service was prompt and friendly. Two expertly mixed cocktails were followed by a delicious Caesar Salad for Two, prepared tableside. My partner ordered the Bucatini alla Vodka; I had the special Double Cut Pork Chop. Both were perfectly prepared and marvelous. We finished by sharing the Mudd Pie, served with a candle on a special birthday plate. Thankfully, no one offered to sing. Although the wines by the glass menu could use some bolstering, there is not much to complain about at Massimo's. Still the best in town.More infoMassimo's - FremontPrice: Expensive• Italian• Fremont•4.8
- LLeahSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoOur server was excellent. The dining room is small and tables are close together and small. All the salads we tried were great. Very fresh. The steak tartar was good, not great but if you like the dish you’ll enjoy this version. Chicken liver mousse was smooth and rich but the balsamic reduction placed on the mousse should be put on the side. My date really liked the bone marrow. The in-house graham cracker crust on the cheesecake was delicious.More infoThe TablePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• San Jose•4.5
- AAlanVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •23 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a wonderful dining experience at Plumed Horse. Our party had the four-course prix-fixe dinner and the waitstaff was very attentive throughout. Every dish was delicious. All of us had the souffle for Course 2 which was absolutely spectacular. The entrees we had were the Pork Chop, Halibut and Rib Eye. Again, all were outstanding. Two of our party were celebrating a wedding anniversary, for which we received a complimentary round of champagne with Course 4 (dessert). This was greatly appreciated. I can’t think of any way the experience could have been better. Yes, I only gave it a Very Good for value (it IS expensive, but the quality justifies that) and noted that the noise level was moderate (it was quiet by the end of our dinner). We hope to dine here again to celebrate the next life "milestone" we encounter.More infoThe Plumed HorsePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Saratoga•4.7
- JjakeSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on Jun 25, 2025As long-time customers of Cucina venti, we appreciate how the restaurant continuously adapts to trends while maintaining a wonderful ambiance. The food presentation was fantastic; I had the lamb chop and my wife had the risotto. The service was excellent, with our server suggesting truffle and scallop additions that elevated the dish. They also introduced new summer cocktails that were absolutely delicious. The overall atmosphere is classy and elegant, complemented by a beautifully decorated outdoor area. We can't wait to return!More infoCucina VentiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Mountain View•4.6
