Best Historic Restaurants in Annapolis

Another excellent lunch at Cafe Normandie. Top notch french onion soup and ratatouille crepe. Great service from our lovely waitress.

My husband and I had dinner with friends at Fox’s Den last night and the food was outstanding. The lamb meatballs, fish and chips, stuffed shells, and pesto pasta were all flavorful and ideal for sharing among our group of four. Each dish was a hit, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. Our friends had wine, my husband bourbon, and I enjoyed an espresso martini. The only downside to our experience was the noise level. We were seated in a corner, and while we were excited to catch up with friends visiting from out of town, it was challenging to hear each other without raising our voices. That said, the excellent food and warm ambiance made it a memorable evening.

Our first visit to Baltimore and we chose Choptank for dinner. We got there about 10 minutes ahead of our reservation and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and professional. The food was delicious. We had the crab and chili oysters which were great. The Cioppino was on point. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly. Great food. Great experience.

Our waiter, John, was great and so was my brie and chicken sandwich with pears and the deviled eggs too!

Everything was perfect - from drinks, to appetizer, to main course, to dessert. Our waiter was very attentive and eager to make sure our experience was amazing.
