Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Forestville

We were entertaining out of town guests, and decided on John Ash for our “special” dinner. I had to call earlier in the day to add another person to our reservation. I spoke with Annie who made the change and after I explained how special this night would be said she would seat us at a table outside with a view of the vineyard. So needless to say, we were excited in anticipation since it was a beautiful day!! The evening was better when we were seated (truly a table with a spectacular view) and Annie was our server. She made our dining experience at John Ash wonderful! She was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and very attentive. A cool breeze eventually picked up when the sun went down, and she kept checking on us to make sure that we were comfortable, turning on the heat lamp as needed.  The food was delicious, the restaurant lovely, but Annie made the night truly memorable!

Meekk, Francesca and Elise were all great. Excellent vegetarian food, wonderful wine pairings adjust as we ate. Our favorite meal experience during our wine country visit. I highly recommend.

We ate breakfast 3 days in a row here as well as the tasting menu with wine pairing one evening. Everything we had was very good!! I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant for both experiences. The staff was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you farmhouse!
