Food was great. The server was excellent our only gripe was the food portions were very small for what you pay for.

The tomahawk with peppercorn sauce on the side is my go-to and easily the best steak on the island. It’s always cooked just right and packed with flavor. The brussels sprouts are a standout too they’re crispy, well-seasoned, and not too saucy. I usually find the pork belly hit or miss, but this time it was spot on: fatty, crispy, and super satisfying. Tried the mushrooms side for the first time and they were fine, but not on the same level as the brussels.

Then comes the Black Cod Miso, perhaps Nobu’s most iconic dish. The buttery fish is marinated for days in sweet miso, then roasted until it nearly melts under your fork. It’s rich without being heavy, and so good you’ll want to order two. The Rock Shrimp Tempura with Creamy Spicy Sauce delivers crunch and heat in just the right proportions, while sushi options like Toro (fatty tuna) and Uni (sea urchin) are incredibly fresh and artfully presented. Service is unobtrusive yet attentive, with staff anticipating your needs without hovering. The setting—usually a stylish, low-lit space with a buzz of international energy—adds to the upscale but relaxed vibe. Yes, it’s pricey. But Nobu isn’t just about dinner—it’s about the experience. Whether celebrating a milestone or simply indulging in a night of refined flavors, Nobu delivers at nearly every level.
