For many years, the Kula Lodge has been a favorite for both visitors and Kama'aina alike for delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of Maui. Perched high on the slopes of Haleakala with a 180 degree view of Maui, the Kula Lodge and Restaurant is a comfortable and homey place to relax, especially on your way down from the sunrise or sunset at the crater. It is situated on 4 lovely acres and not only has a stunning botanical garden, it has the only full-service bar and live music in Kula, along with a wine cave/private dining room for special dinners/events.The restaurant seats up to 160 guests, making it ideal for weddings and special events. The Kula Lodge outdoor Garden Terrace features a brick wood-burning pizza oven and an open view of south, central and the Maui mountains. The sunset views are absolutely phenomenal! Kula Lodge & Restaurant is open 7 days a week for Brunch, Happy Hour and Dinner. There is also a retail shop and 5 hotel rooms on property. Call for more info!

Our everchanging Market Driven Menus always include a glass of sparkling wine, are Prix-Fixe, between 6-9 courses and range from $200-$300 per person plus tax, gratuity and any additional alcohol.RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: If you are late, please call to let us know.     We had a fantastic time at Makawao Public House! The servers were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely excellent— I had the smash burger, which was juicy and packed with flavor. My husband ordered the steak and said it was the best he’s had on Maui. We’ll definitely be going back!

    Delicious fresh farm to table food. The tomato soup was divine and the steak, the steak was cooked perfectly. I was in heaven. There was a loud party of ppl which was a little disturbing only bc I was in quiet mode. The hostess graciously moved me, which i really appreciated.

    What a treat of a place. Try the old fashioned, it’s killer. Menu is fresh, local produce. A great mix of Americana or Italian dishes, so easy to find something for everyone. Nice wine list, reasonably priced. Great staff, big smiles, friendly and attentive. Can’t go wrong and definitely our favorite in Paia!
