Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Glenolden

White Dog Cafe in Glen Mills is one of my absolute favorite local spots! The cocktails (especially anything with pear) are phenomenal, and the fries are my favorite restaurant fries I've ever had! Menu staples like the warm donuts and the avocado BLT are reliably delicious and hard to steer from, but everything I've tried there is great. Staff are polite and attentive, and have I mentioned the skill of the bartenders? I love the outdoor area in the warmer months, and the ambiance and all of the dog decorations and paintings inside make the place warm and inviting while remaining modern and chic. I've been twice in the last 2 weeks, and I don't intend to stop. SO grateful that White Dog came to Glen Mills!

Amazing food - vegan but can’t tell! Just really small and crowded so noisy with loud music - suitable for 20 something’s ☺️

We had a fantastic meal-started with the Fritto misto and bruschetta, followed by the agnolotti and carbonara with espresso and gelato for dessert. Our waiter was fabulous and helpful with recommendations throughout. Cannot believe we waited so long to try this place, we will definitely be back!

This restaurant is worth the hype; be sure to make weekend reservations way in advance (they are strict about them). The meals come as small plates, and the waiter kindly equated the first grouping of plates to being appetizers, the second grouping as main courses, and the third as sides. My husband and I ordered the carpaccio portabello mushrooms and the roasted golden beets to start. Perfectly presented and the right meld of flavors in each. For the next courses, one dish out did the next. Meat eaters will not be disappointed. We finished with a small scoop of cherry sorbet with balsamic vinegar; be sure to give it a try. We look forward to going again the next time we are in Philly.
