    Two of the best restaurants in San Diego (if not THE two best) are Cesarina and Elvira. Given their differing menus it's becoming almost impossible to say which one is better. The service and ambiance of Elvira are exceptional. The food at Elvira is as good as it gets. We shared the meatballs appetizer and then the Diavola pizza and bucatini pasta and all three (and the Sangiovese) were spectacular. Absolutely, positively do yourself a favor and go to Elvira.
