Best Low Country Restaurants in Bluffton

Best piece of trout I've ever eaten! First time I've ordered it at Charlie's. New fave! Husband thoroughly enjoyed his duck which he orders there often. We dined at a high top in the bar which is always great at this restaurant. Mark and Thaddeus were hustling non stop as it was very busy. Seats at the bar and tables only stayed empty for a minute - continuous turnover so I won't fault them for a few missteps in the service - forgotten napkin, forgotten water refill. Everything was taken care of eventually and it was a really great meal out at Charlie's - as always.

Our server, Jenn, was attentive and knowledgeable. White wine was well chilled and served properly with the amazing flounder special. Carrot cake is a great finish to a great meal.

Outstanding lunch experience! The New England clam chowder was the best I have ever had. Full of clams and came out piping hot! The Ahi Tuna “BALT” was full of flavors and the tuna was cooked perfectly! Their creative Short Rib Grilled Cheese, YUM! We see why it’s a local favorite! The Wagyu Burger as per our son, “THE BOMB, I WANT ANOTHER”. Chris was friendly and attentive and we met Jennifer (the owner) who was on the floor, checking on all tables, so lovely and she spent time telling us about Lulu, their dog. Place was packed and we see why. We can’t wait to come back! A must when in Hilton Head! You feel like family at Lulu Kitchen.

Absolutely Fantastic Food Service and wonderful Bar Tender. Eric makes the best drinks and Donna’s service at our table was fabulous. My Prime Rib was one of the best I have had in a while and my wife had the Mahi which was outstanding. Great place for dinner.
