Excellent venue -- we sat outdoors at the round table with a brazier which was nice especially on a rather cool evening and it was a bit quieter. Food was excellent and well-presented. One of our diners loved the grilled corn. The tortillas at the beginning were really good and the salsas that came with it were great. I had the carnitas which I would highly recommend. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Parking in the municipal garage was probably the easiest as it is just behind the restaurant. More

Good spot. Nice vibe. Pretty touches (string tied around napkin tableside). Food fell a little short. Buratta sandwich tasted like vinegar. The pesto was thickly applied. The sandwich board could not contain the salad and it spilled all over the table. Looked pretty. Didn't work. Solicitous service. Very friendly. More

Interesting menu. Small plates have plenty of food. Service was outstanding and our server made good recommendations. Wine list is expensive and $25 for corkage seems to say they don't want to bother. We'll certainly go back, but it is noisy, guess that is the style now. More

In LAX for a short trip, tired of hotel food, was looking at places nearby. Saw linguine and clams on the menu, saw good reviews thought I'd give it a try. Glad I did! Wonderful dish, service was great. I'll Make sure to stop in next time I come through LAX. More

A great Manhattan Beach bar restaurant for locals and visitors to the city. plenty of parking (metered) on the street walking distance to the restaurant. The hostess was very friendly when I arrived. the bartender was very nice and attentive. Food selection was very good and creative. Great beverage selection as well. More

Went for Tuesday Moules-Frites (Mussels and Fries). We tried all the sauces and really liked the classic white wine and the Dijon. I was disappointed by the fries as they were wedges instead of the thin fries that you usually get in Belgium. It is $25 all you can eat which we heartily attempted! Good fun for cuisine you don't often see in the US. Service was delightfully French. More

The service was excellent. The staff was friendly. The food was not only tasty but plentiful. The outdoor ambience was perfect for people watching and enjoying the sea breeze. I made reservations through Open Table and had noted that it was my girlfriend's birthday. They paid attention to that and brought her out a surprise dessert. We had a great time and will definitely be back. More

We were craving something Asian, but a bit different and Little Sister met the bill perfectly. Widely varied menu with many vegetarian options. The two things that really stood out were the mixed dumplings (over two servings -- you'll definitely want more) as well as the rice paper grilled spring roll. A disappointment was the steamed black cod, which seemed to be mixed up with too much sauce and too many flavors. Staff was great -- helpful, prompt and knowledgeable. Wine list extensive, plus sake as well. A bit noisy, but comfortable environment. More

Great food and service. Jute coastal bar and kitchen is located in the newly redesigned Westdrift hotel previously Marriott Manhattan Beach. We tried an assortment of the new kitchen offerings and some of the craft cocktails. All was delicious. We sat on the balcony overlooking their 9 hole golf course. Beautiful view. I will be back. What a great place to meet old friends and meet a few new ones! The sushi is super fresh. They have a crab roll to die for. Service was excellent. The salmon an eel were tastie. Octopus was yummy. They have a good selection of premium saki to make the night memoriable. Highly recommended. More
