- JJillGreater Boston •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I enjoyed our meal last night Legal Sea Foods - Downtown Crossing. I had made a reservation for 6pm and we were seated immediately in the front of the restaurant. Our server was the only employee for the entire area and he did an excellent job overall. We both ordered cod: mine was the loin seared with 2 sides. My husband's was the cod special. I was surprised that we had to ask for rolls and was told that it depends on how busy it is. Both of us would order the dish again. We had tickets for the Paul Simon concert at the Wang theatre so this was a perfect spot to walk to our destination. I have eaten at multiple Legal Sea Foods, and always have a good experience. The Downtown Crossing site is always my first choice for before theatre. I recommend a reservation because I have been turned away during busy times. My server did not tell me his name, but he did a good job given the number of tables he was assigned.
