Particularly now, it pains me to give a poor review. Driving in from the burbs to enjoy a gift card, our expectations were... well... high. We had to return the martini - $15 that advertises blue cheese olives. You would think you don't have to explain to a steakhouse how to prepare a martini. No snow, yellow-ish (which signals too much brine) and no olives, it went back after the first sip. Equally no show was the manager. A far cry from other RC's, where the manager personally welcomes you, even more now during covid. Also missing? Service. Pleasant. Absent. Slow, in a very thinly populated restaurant. On a Sunday. At 5 pm. No thank you helping. Dessert? I love chocolate. Not their flourless chocolate brick. Steak? Delicious. But at $200 bill, you would hope for better service along with a good steak. It's Coach Grill all the way for us.

The service was good, the steaks and drinks were good but the sides and apps were not very good for the price. The au gratin potatoes are cubed with melted cheddar and the mashed potatoes were pretty bland. The steaks were very good though.
Shoutout to Serge behind the bar. He truly made the experience. 5 star hospitality

Had an amazing Valentine's Day lunch. Server was amazing and funny.
We had a fabulous Valentine’s Day lunch after deciding to try indoor dining for the first time in a while. We had one of the first reservations of the day and sat in the main dining room downstairs. Social distancing left plenty of space and we were alone in the dining room for part of our meal. Lobster bisque was excellent, the steaks were perfectly cooked, au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach were both excellent. We had creme brûlée and took home a dessert for later that evening. Server was lovely. We would happily go back again in the future.
I do not recommend this location. It desperately needs remodeling and the steak was subpar. Go to Moo or Abe and Louies or Capital Grille...do not go here.
Had a really good experience here on Valentine’s Day, the restaurant is in a beautiful, historic building that used to be Boston city hall with really nice ambiance. Excellent service with amazing steak and seafood and sides. Our creme brûlée for dessert was the best we’ve ever had

A yummy Valentines dinner! Every course of our meals came out quickly and the main dishes came out sizzling! We were kind of tucked away in one of the basement small rooms, but it was still nice and quiet with 5 other tables but only 4 in use because of Covid. Very romantic and a wonderful meal! Everything cooked deliciously and our waitress was wonderful!

Excellent service provided by Anthony. We had perfectly cooked steaks and lobster tails as well. Sometimes, the food / service combination can be off, but tonight it was 100%. Great drinks, attentive, gracious server. One cannot ask for much more.

I had the cowboy ribeye, and let me tell you! I almost cried, my mouth watered the entirety of the meal. I was so happy, and warm. I want to feel how I felt eating that piece of meat.... everyday for the rest of my life . A++. Until next time. Xoxo
We miss not having a Ruths Chris in Providence any longer. The atmosphere in this Boston location is a bit stale, given the size if the place, and the lack of customers due to Covid. The meal and service were still excellent.
Every thing was great except the lobster mac and cheese needs a new recipe. But our steaks came out perfect and drinks were yummy but expensive.
It was my husbands birthday and he chose this restaurant.
The experience was overall good during Covid-19 restrictions.
I understand that we only had 90 minutes and that is hard to achieve
when your looking for a nice dining experience. I understand this is not the restaurant's
fault, but I was asked to leave at the 90 minutes.
Anthony was outstanding and made the dining experience wonderful.
It's sad that we could not have desert and we had to have our wine bottled to take home.

I must say I was very up set when they let in a man wearing a hoodie, jeans and a tee shirt.
Its by far the worst dining experience i have had in Boston.
They make you feel like they are doing you a favor having you in the restaurant!
I booked a reservation on friday for two at 8.30pm. Websites says its open until 10pm. They kept repeating we are late and only have one hour to have food..
we made a quick order. At 9.30 pm sharp they came and cleaned the entire table while we were still eating. Didn’t ask if we were done. Server didn’t even talk. Just took all the plates away. Rude! Didnt expect this from the Ruth Chris brand!

It was very good (and I know times are different with Covid) but to be reminded 5 times we need to leave in so many minutes is a bit of over kill...
Our server was great. He was the bartender. We will be back and hopefully we can have more time to eat our delicious dinner and drink our delicious wine...

Our go to restaurant when we want a nice dinner in Boston. Service is always excellent, food is great a little pricey but comparable for other Boston prices.
