- JJohn1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoSparrow has a wonderful, calming, and very peaceful ambiance. The service is outstanding. Our server was Ben. He was very attentive and provided good suggestions regarding menu items. Sparrow has a very open, nature-themed outdoor eating section on the East side and on the North side of the restaurant. Indoors, they have live moss walls that add a very soothing and green touch to the interior decor. The food is very good. We tried the Rigatoni plate (Ben's recommendation) and it was a delicious balance of sausage, herbs, and a creamy sauce. I had the duck, it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just the way duck should be served. My partner had the Halibut, he said it was a bit bland tasting. Halibut doesn't really have a great flavor in and of itself, so one must rely heavily on the chefs exquisite touch to bring out the richness of the fish. My suggestion would be to pass on the halibut unless you want something that's on the bland side. We had the mussels and the sausage starter, it was really tasty. I wanted to try the burger but it's only served at lunch. Happy hour is everyday from 3-5pm (we missed it on this first visit but we will be back). All in all it was a great dining experience. It's pretty spendy so be prepared to spend about $300 on a good dinner for two with drinks and a starter and a good tip for the server. I would highly recommend SPARROW for a special occasion. The staff at Sparrow was incredible. Everyone we encountered seemed to enjoy their job and performed it well. It was a pleasure dining there.More infoSparrow - KirklandPrice: Expensive• American• Kirkland•4.4
- GgaryVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •29 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoOverall a very good value. One could pay more, but would expect more. We defiantly will return, its not our first time. The menu variety has improved, drinks fairly priced with a great selection of wines. They were very busy on a Friday night, yet our waiter had great support staff and were very responsive. The trout was quite small/thin and overcooked. But I can understand the pressure to move it out was a factor so i will assume it was a one off issue, we did not complain.More infoHeritage Restaurant | BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Woodinville•4.7

- SDSusanDSeattle / Eastern Washington •5 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 19, 2025The food is still excellent. The waitress was pleasant but more interested in chatting with the customers than waiting on them. It took a while to get drinks - don’t know if the bartender was slow or waitress wasn’t paying attention. Food was served by a gentleman with n a sweatshirt instead of a server dressed like everyone else or a chef who n his jacket. But again, the food was great. Hope the service doesn’t take the restaurant down.More infoItalianissimo RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Woodinville•4.7
- JJosephVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •144 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 29, 2025Diverse set of guests, two adult drinkers, one adult non drinker and two teen age girls. One Mqrtini, two Manhattens that were excellent. One steak, fish tacos, Jambalaya, Paella and two oyster appetizers with an oyster shooter. Such a wide ranging set of orders and they were all exceptional. To top it off we got great service from Tonya.More infoBig Fish Grill-WoodinvillePrice: Moderate• Northwest• Woodinville•4.3
