40 min wait from time of ordering to arrival of breakfast About 4 cups of coffee refills before the food arrived The entire restaurant room basically waited equally as long, I’d noticed the table next to us had already ordered when we sat down, and they probably waited about 45 min as well. Yikes. It’s breakfast, restaurant was only 5 small tables full, not a great experience

We enjoyed our dinner here. We had the pork belly, the ahi steak, and the grilled octopus. The octopus was a little overly charred (I appreciate a grilled octopus, but this got a little over done). The pork belly and the ahi tuna, which came with noodles, was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed it.

The Barking Frog is a favorite restaurant for special occasions or to just have an incredible gourmet meal. The cuisine is Northwest Fresh, innovative, seasonal and delicious! The Chef de Cuisine is a highly talented award winning young chef. Definitely worth the drive to Woodinville!

Service was impeccable and the food very, very good! I had the salmon with carrot risotto and pea shoots; salmon melted in my mouth! Husband had the beet “steak” (plus half my meal). He said the beet steak was tender and flavorful. Downside; I have been to the barking Frog many times and it is always noisy. Table next to us was obnoxious and the waitperson recognized it right away and offer to move us; we declined as we figured someone else would be stuck. Since we are regulars wanted other visitors to have a better experience. Definitely will be back despite the noise as the food and service out weigh anything else!

The dining area is smaller than I expected. I thought my friend and I might be uncomfortable due to our "Big & Tall" body size, but it was very comfortable. The food was beautiful. Our server was polite and friendly. I intend to return to try other dishes.

Went for Rest. week 3 course meal for $33. Was very disappointed in the trout., thin and dried up and my table mates and I would had prefered to order off the main menu for better quality.

Went to Barking Frog for Seattle Restaurant Week. Value and quality of food was superb, and the wine pairing with each course was fantastic. Service was definitely on the slow side, could be an effect from SRW, or the large amounts of tables available.

The servers were super polite, there when you needed them and not intrusive at all. The decor inside was beautiful and the restaurant was set in a low key area of Woodinville with quick access to all the wine tasting rooms. Sad to say, as beautiful and enticing as the space was, the food was overpriced and underwhelming. The menu detailed exciting flavors that never presented themselves in the food but still reflected in the cost. Sad to say, this isn't one I would return to or recommend.

Two of us tried the tasting menu, and one ordered ala carte. Our food was all prepared and presented beautifully, with surprising and distinctive elements of fresh local foods. We felt welcomed and the service was uniformly excellent.

Dining as it should be! Lovely atmosphere where you can quietly converse without having to shout. Wait staff are knowledgeable and attentive yet unobtrusive. The Grand Marnier prawns are delectable; just wish there were more of them in the appetizer. Barking Frog is an upscale place that somehow manages to retain the charm of previous eras and make diners feel special. Please don't lose that touch.

My husband used the dine around Seattle to visit the barking Frog for lunch. What a delight! .. great food: soup, prawns for our appetizers ; brisket, cumin dusted steelhead for our mains. Loved the wine pairings and staff. Great experience.

Came for a lunch date with my wife for SRW. We had the prawns and soup as starters, then the trout and pork sandwich as mains. All of the food was prepared very well and delicious. We also had the wine pairing. Personally, I was a little disappointed that they did not choose local wines to go with their menu, but the selections were still pretty good. I liked the white more than the red that was chosen. Decor and ambiance is typical northwest-style with lots of wood and deep colors. Being a local, I love that feel. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

One of my wife's favorite restaurants. We travel to Seattle on occasion and try to get here each time. Our last server was excellent. I asked about a wine reduction for my steak, and she had the chef prepare a tasty sauce. It made the meal for both of us. She was great, and so is Barking Frog. A little pricey, but it least it delivers.

I was overall disappointed for the cost. I had hoped this to be in the spectacular range as a location to celebrate our anniversary. The food was fine, but not outstanding or memorable. Service was attentive, but fast. We felt rushed. The overall experience did not fit the reputation of this restaurant.

Food was bland and disappointing for both myself and my friend and we ordered different things. Please explain why wouldn't you cut a hardboiled egg on top of cobb salad?

I do love the atmosphere - but the food was underwhelming which is really disappointing because we both came from a great distance and had been before with really fond memories of the restaurant.

Whenever we are in the Seattle area we make it a point to dine at The Barking Frog!! The service is always friendly and the staff is knowledgeable about the different selections on the menu! The food never disappoints us. There is always a wide variety for dishes to choose from!
This restaurant is perfect for casual dining at lunch and dinner. The tasting menu offers you a chance to try different items by serving smaller portions but keeping the amazing taste. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower and the beet appetizers were a great choice. The salmon was cooked perfectly as was the sea scallops. You must make this a stop if you are in the area!! Another plus is that The Barking Frog takes a reservation!!

The food and waitstaff are great! This is my favorite brunch place and I highly recommend it. The huevos rancheros are my favorite. And you can’t go wrong in ending your meal with some beignets.
However, the hostess today was not so nice. We were 10 min late and she was so unbelievably rude. I then found out that she marked us as a no show on the reservation. She even told us there was a 15 minute grace period and my mom pointed out that we were only 10 minutes late. I don’t know why we were given such a hard time. Once you get passed the cold welcome to this establishment, you’ll have a great experience.
