Edson Hill was a fabulous find in a picture perfect setting. The service was professional, food delicious, and dining room stunning. The sous vide apple salad was delicious and duck entree cooked perfectly. My husband loved his rabbit rillette and his halibut was well seasoned, and expertly prepared. Loved the Prosecco pear sorbet. All around a wonderful meal! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Our first visit to this restaurant. We booked it because it looked impressive on the web site. The décor lived up to the web presentation. What surprised me was the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I had the lamb shank and was captivated by the different tastes and textures used in the presentation. My wife had the salmon. She was impressed with the topping on the fish. Finally, we were taken good care of throughout our meal. No fewer than four individuals came to us asking if everything was to our approval. The answer was definitely yes. A little expensive but for a special night out this would be my first consideration in the future. MoreOpenTable Diner -
While travelers often visit Stowe in search of the great outdoors, they leave with an appreciation of excellent meals, wines, and beers. Despite its isolation in the mountains of New England, it boasts well-rated restaurants that specialize in international cuisine and fusion recipes. The success of restaurants in Stowe can be attributed to talented chefs and their use of fresh ingredients. The village is home to several farm-to-table establishments that source cheese and milk from rural Vermont. Organic fruits and vegetables arrive from farms on a daily basis. The upscale Mediterranean restaurants of Stowe also suit the preferences of foodies who enjoy lobster, halibut, and other New England favorites. The selection of baked goods at Stowe's Austrian bakeries may also transform the village into an alpine town for the imaginative palate.
