Made a reservation about 1 month ago and I was given the worst seat in the house. I was cramped in a walkway in the center. I asked to move the seating arrangement and I was given an even worse seat across the bar that was equally cramped. Waitress was good. Probably the only reason I stayed was her great service. Food was mediocre. There was a suspicious looking guy standing in the corner of the bar watching the bar the whole time as if something was going to go down. That ruined the experience. Lastly, I specifically mentioned on my online reservation it was a special occasion and I guess they forgot.

Food dry and overcooked, service stunk up the joint. For the price that one has to pay, I would say, terrible, could and would not recommend.

This trip was our first time in, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Everything was wonderful, and our waitress, Amber, was fantastic!!!

We dined on a Monday, and although business was good, they had understandably miscalculated staffing based on the day of the week, with one server for the dining room. At any point there were 3-6 parties in the dining room. We were initially brought a basket of stale rolls (warmed), but again, it was Monday and we assumed that this might have been a factor. We still looked forward to our meal, as the menu is varied and creative without being pretentious. We tried two different soups - the menu lobster bisque, and the chicken soup of the day, and both were excellent, as were our entrees. It took quite a while to get served a glass of wine before dinner, so when entrees arrived, a second glass was ordered so as to factor in the potential delay before the glass was empty. At one point, about ten minutes later, the server said our wine would come soon - yet it never appeared. After our meal was complete, we flagged down the server and asked to cancel the wine. We then got an "overshare" about the inefficiency of the bar and how they weren't keeping up. First of all, throwing a colleague under the bus is never a good idea because it has the opposite effect of the intended motivation. But it also fell flat because it was very obvious that the main issue was that the server completely forgot about the wine. During the second half of our meal when things were quieter, the server was in the dining room busing another table and doing table settings - for an extended time with no sense of urgency or leaving the room to check at the bar. After clearing our dishes, we were brought a complimentary dessert in lieu of the wine - and again got to hear about the "fault" of the bar and the fact that the newly seated party of six across from us were the cause of the delay in the bar. I'd eat there again because food was great, but ideally on a better-staffed night.

Great first time experience; however, due to a large party in a private room I over heard the wait staff multiple times panicking over how they were slammed or in the weeds. I enjoyed the meal I had; however, I wouldn't get it again just because I have had the same thing elsewhere for cheaper and it tasted better. I will be more adventurous next time. Our waitress was great, friendly and also apologetic for the delay of our food due to the large party.

We normally really enjoy Vintage 423; however, this time they had a large party going on while we were there which slowed everything down to a crawl which was tough for some in our party. Two of the seven meals fell in the kitchen and had to be remade from what we were told when the five dishes came out. It was unfortunate that the majority of the five had finished their meals prior to the two getting theirs.

We had a wonderful time today. Our server was really on top of things and the food was excellent. The manager came by a couple times to check on us as well, he was a very nice guy. After our meal we had a wonderful drink special I think it was some blood orange drink they called it ...... we really enjoyed our Sunday at Vintage.

The food was exceptional in taste, presentation and complexity. Good size portions and cooked to perfection. We were very pleased with the entire experience. Service was outstanding and very engaging. Truly a gem of a place for a great dinner and drinks.

When we were seated it took 10 minutes to be acknowledged. It was clear there was confusion on who the server was supposed to be. Service very slow. When we were finally assigned a server we ordered appetizers and our dinner and everything took a long time. We also had to wait a good 10-15 minutes for a drink. This is an expensive high end restaurant and the service level was more like a diner. I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to friend especially when spending hard earned money.

The service was excellent and very attentive and friendly. There were seven of us and all agreed each course was served with good timing and was prepared perfectly. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back.

Excellent upscale dining. All 4 of us throughly enjoyed our appetizers, entrees and desert from the special New Years Eve menu which were new dishes from their new chef Martin Torrez. We look forward to returning for more of his creations.

Great ambiance and good service in a venue like no other in Albuquerque.

The food was great. We enjoyed our waiter (also great) and the table service was very attentive. However the hostess was horrible. On the way to our table, I slipped and fell. Their flooring is very slick (other people have confirmed this). My husband helped me up while she looked on. Then when we got to our table, which was very small and poorly situated, I asked if we could have a larger one. I was told they had full reservations that night, understood. Then she proceeded to seat other 2 top customers after us at 4 top tables. When we left there were numerous open tables in the room, and in my mind no reason we couldn't have had a larger table. I totally understand when a restaurant is full and I don't ask to be moved. But we had a reservation and I think we should have been accomodated. I felt there was attitude with the hostesses and I was not very impressed. And no one ever came by to see if I was alright. But again, our server and table support were great. And again, the meal was top-notch.

service was medicore, nearby tables crowded in blocking our booth preventing the server from easily accessing our table and when we left the person sitting at the closest table had to get up to let us out. asked for the birthday chocolate cake and were offered cheesecake instead and charged for it. birthday cake used to be free here and we should have been told there was a charge especially since it wasn't what we wanted

Special occasion and we were looking for something special in ABQ. First time visit and we won't be back. Arrived early evening, asked for a booth and we were told they were booked and busy, yet the entire meal, booths around us were left empty. Service was good and our waiter tried his best. Food was over priced and portions were on the small side.
