Great food. The salmon was cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside and moist in the center. Also, our server Kari, was awesome. Thank you Kari for a wonderful experience!
Five star prices for 3.5 star food. Atmosphere is great but the value isn't there. Subpar food. Subpar service. I'd recommend Vernon's over Vintage every time. This review isn't based on one visit but my last 4 visits. It's right next to my house so I keep going back for the convenience. Each time I do I wish I would've dined elsewhere. As a consolation prize the bar is great for happy hour!
Great food, but the service was slow and inattentive.
Delicious sea bass & steak, we had a nice quiet dinner with friends.
Everything was wonderful
Was dissapointing. It was freezing, there were multiple tv screens showing football. I ordered short ribs & was looking forward to it, came within 10 minutes the reason was obvious. Before I could eat half of it they were cold. Must have been pre-cooked and just warmed up, but not enough. Tasteless despite the wine/chile sauce. A good restaurant with fairly expensive food should not have football on wide screens - I could go to a sports bar if I wanted that. Finally, no lattes or cappachino.
While somewhat expensive, the meal was well prepared and flavorful. The wine list is extensive with many less expensive choices as well as high end wines.
Very hard to get a hold of and answer questions...I would not say fine dining...
Such a great atmosphere, great service, amazing food!!! 😍😍😍
Always great food! The bartender last night was on point and made some of the best New York Whisky Sours we’ve ever had.
Ordering salads on a Sunday might be hopeful, but we had previously enjoyed lunch a few weeks before. Bottom line, if the romaine, or field greens, are limp and tasteless, don't serve them. On service, when your guests eat the protein but leave all of the greens, assume something is amiss
Our reservation was well before the "busy hours" and very few people were dining or drinking inside the restaurant. The drinks took a extra time to get to the table because they sat at the bartender well for a period of time without being brought to the table. The drinks were very good when the arrived. The plates were put down in front of the wrong person (3 person party). The steaks were served without a steak knife. The food was absolutely amazing (ALL 3 dishes). Very little 'check ins' by the waitress. Water glasses stayed empty for a period of time. Go to 423 for the food and drinks, not the service.
We had a reservation but they tried to sit us in the very noisy bar, not the dining room.
The food and service were good but it was very expensive compared to other comparable restaurants.
It was very noisy and chaotic with lots of loud drunks.
Service was lacking! Food was good but a little pricey
We have lived by your restaurant for years and never tried it. So happy we did we plan on returning again and again and again!
Service and food were great. Loved the wine cellar.
Had lunch here.. Service and food were great. Decor is outstanding. Will be back when traveling to NM.
Cocktails were spot on and likely the one reason we would come back! Our service speed was slow. It took much more time than expected to be greeted, have drinks, food and recheck by our server. She was very nice and had some suggestions on the menu. Over half of the other patrons in the restaurant didn't have a mask on, several staff also without a mask, and our server wore her mask basically around her chin during service. Out steaks were cooked perfectly, the sweet potato mash with my tenderloins was cold. The mussels were delicious but the bread served with the delicious sauce was stale, making it unable to dip the sauce in well. We will likely only come back to sit in the lounge and try small appetizers and cocktails again.
Delicious food, perfect portions, drinks on point!
What more do you need?!!
We celebrated our anniversary! We had a wonderful meal, an attentive server, and a celebratory cheesecake.
Did not care for the way their Ceasar salad was served. Made it difficult to eat. Had the Chilean Sea Bass which was lovely but found a bone in the leftovers that I had for lunch today.
Don’t take it on if you can’t handle it
An outstanding dining experience that begins with the quality and care taken to select and prepare the food.
The bill came to $230, including the tip for four. The $230 wasn't a problem, but the value was. I had a beef somethin or other, there were three pieces of cold overcooked pieces of meet, the beans were boil in the bag not fully cooked and cold. There was some kind of orange sauce, that was really poor. My wife had fish and chips, again poor quality . . .
The lighting was dim and the lampshade above the table was broken . . .
A really poor experience, but unfortunately par for the restauranteurs in Albuquerque and around. Next time I consider spending $200 I'll cook at home I cant do worse than Vintage 423.
The food was great, had great and savory flavor. The seats were comfortable and the service was nice and friendly
The short ribs were outstanding!
Service and atmosphere was great. Food was ok. I felt a little expensive for quality of the beef and fish we got.. Neither entree was worth the cost. I am from dallas and used to a higher quality of food here than what we got in Santa Fe
The food, drink and service was excellent. The music was loud. Conversation was difficult at best.
Our first time a d we were impressed! Excellent food, great server! We will be back.
The food is overpriced. The ambiance is nice. The service was very good...until our server, who went out of his way to move us, after dining, to the lounge area. When a hostess approached me and asked, very rudely, if I had paid my tab at the other table I was previously sitting at. She proceeded to ask if I was going to sit there was I going to have drinks. It was very insulting. I more than likely will never eat or drink there again.
We were celebrating a birthday and choose Vintage 423, never having been there before. They were not busy when we arrived, but we were seated in the lounge area, which was fine except for the “club” music that kept pounding on the nerve centers of our brains! When we ordered we asked for bread, and were told it was in the oven and would be brought out as soon as it was done. Our meals were served when we reminded our server, and the bread was cold when it arrived, when we were almost finished with our meals at that point. The sea bass wasn’t cooked through, and the steak was very fatty. Too pricy for that type of experience!
Wonderful food , service and atmosphere, especially in the bar area and patio.
Dark strange decor with uncomfortably large table for two. Prices were very high for mediocre food and service. Very disappointed.
Enjoyed everything but the music. If I wanted club music, I would go to a club. Perhaps the selections would be appropriate for the evening bar crowd but they are not for lunch.
The food was fine, nothing wrong with anything just not something special that couldn't be found at a less pricey establishment. The ambience was very good as was the staff.
Wonderful meal, excellent service, really nice looking place. I had been to Vintage many moons ago but this was the first time back in over 5 years. We will definitely return - a classy place where you feel like you get your money's worth.
The staff was wonderful and the waitress was exceptional. The food was also amazing.
Had a reservation for outdoors for a birthday dinner. Arrived and they had us at the firepit with no table to eat dinner. They said walkins took our table so guess reservation doesn't mean anything. We said we would wait for patio table, 1.5 hr passed and no table. Complained and manager was not accommodating and did not care to make an effort to find us other table. We left and ate dinner elsewhere. Not going back.
Wonderful! Food was delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall—excellent!
My boyfriend and I weren’t able to make a reservation at our regular restaurant and then we found Vintage 423 and now this is our new favorite place!
