    We have been here a few times have not been disappointed great atmosphere food everything was amazing can’t go wrong whatever you order it’s all absolutely perfect compared to high end restaurants I’ve been to around the world Vernon’s is special

    Vernon’s Speakeasy is probably the best place I’ve gone to in Albuquerque. The staff is absolutely a hoot! The door man, man oh man. The food was extremely good, a tad on the pricier side, but the ambience of the place in its whole, surpassed the cost of being so close to the person you brought there. The ability to talk, laugh and have a phenomenal time seated with the person you love, and not have to try and talk over loud noises is great! Overall, this place is a 15/10 for me.

    From the moment we stepped through the discreet entrance, Vernon’s Speakeasy delivered an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was warm, intimate, and full of character—setting the perfect tone for a special evening. Our server was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about both the food and wine. He guided us through the menu with thoughtful suggestions that made the night feel curated just for us. The food? Simply phenomenal. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were layered, balanced, and memorable. This is fine dining without the pretense—elegant but never stuffy. If you’re looking for a spot that combines exceptional service, world-class cuisine, and a truly unique atmosphere, I highly recommend Vernon’s Speakeasy.

    I didn’t know what to expect. I knew there was a bit of kitsch for the speakeasy part (password, knock, etc). I knew there would be steak. But what I didn’t know was everything else. We were seated directly in front of the jazz trio, like in a traditional supper club. The service was impeccable. The martinis were perfect and the glasses were chilled. The food was delicious - and portions are generous. The steaks are aged in house, and are prepared exactly right. There is a solid wine list - with some well-priced options beyond the cab page. Upon leaving, we discovered exactly how big the place is. Much larger than I understood - with a handful of dining rooms. It’s pricey for Albuquerque, but it’s still a good value. But, there’s no place I’ve been outside of NYC that delivers the supper club experience the same way. It feels upscale and luxurious in a way that other restaurants don’t approach. And yes, the speakeasy theme is delightful. Definitely recommend it strongly. While it is a bit too expansive to become regulars, it will be on the rotation for occasions and visitors who want a little slice of something unique.
