Excellent! Amazing food, great service! Best Italian in Denver!
Enjoyed our dinner here in the Union Station area.
Always the best place to meet up with friends and family when you want to be able to sit and talk and not feel rushed. The tables are well spaced so it's easier to have a conversation. Their menu has been trimmed, which isn't a bad thing. The menu used to be a little overwhelming with so much selection.
The service is excellent and the food is amazing! Rigatoni is our forever favorite.
Service was horrible, took 1 1/2 hours to order. The manger prioritized our order. Every dish: appetizers, salads, and entrees were exceptional! We are now fans of the chef, but not the service.
Food not really good.
My wife and I have eaten here several times in the past but this is the first time in since the pandemic. It seems the place has really gone down hill or it was one very very very off night for them. Either way we don't plan on returning. Service was extremely slow, Food was completely over cooked (Lamb ordered at med-rare and came at well-done), apart from over cooked food had little to no flavor, heaters didn't work at first outside when cold and when they did were extremely loud making it difficult to talk, more drinks were on the tab than ordered, and again service was pretty much none existent. For the amount that was paid it was one of the worst dinning experiences we have had in a very long time.
Amazing service and some of the best food I’ve ever had in Denver. Will go back 10/10 recommend.
We celebrated a wedding anniversary and our table location wasn’t ideal. We made it work and it turned out to be a great experience.
The food was a huge disappointment. And if we spend over $400 for just 7 people, with only 4 drinks, then the food needs to be worth it. The lobster bisque was inedible, the gnocchi mush, and the lasagna had weird texture. In general, if it wasn’t for the service, not worth the $.
The food was tremendous and our server Gil was fantastic! A great dining experience all around.
Wonderful menu selections! No matter your preferences they seem to have it! Wine selection awesome; and service even better!
Service. Great atmosphere. Very enjoysble
We sat outside on a beautiful spring night and enjoyed all of the people watching. The food was out of this world, highly recommend the homemade ravioli. Good selection of vegetarian options also. Hadn’t been to a restaurant or out on the town for over a year and it was great to see the world coming back to life again. We will definitely go back again.
This outing was my first dining experience since the pandemic started. My grown kids came to town also for the first time in over a year. We sat outside, which was lovely. Our waiter gave us awesome help and recommendations from wine to dinner choices. He was not wrong on any of his recommendations.
Everything was deliciously. The chef sent out complementary desserts in honor of the two events that we were celebrating. It was a wonderful evening. I would absolutely come back..and soon.
This is one of the few times that I have felt compelled to provide a written review because this was one of my worst dining experiences in a long time. This restaurant failed to meet my expectations based on previous writeups. While I was willing to make some concessions as we come out of the COVID shutdown, their performance was well below par. From a manager delivering entrees before my wife and I were finished with our appetizer, to having to ask a manager for our wine glasses to be refilled, to finally having to track down a manager to get our check, the entire evening was severely disappointing. To top it off the food was no better than average.
Our dining experience was one of the best meals I have had in recent memory. The food was scrumptious and our server was attentive and very pleasant. I’ve already recommended this restaurant to a friend who has made a reservation for next month when she and her family will be visiting Denver.
Delicious food that is perfectly cooked. Wine list that is complete $h1t and so crazy overpriced. Get drunk somewhere else and go here to eat. But the wine list is lame and insanely overpriced. 30 dollar glasses of wine for crummy wine that is insulting.
Service was solid and location is awesome!
Table was not ready until 540 pm. Restaurant smelled like sewer. asked to sit outside a few time and they were rude.
I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the somewhat outdated atmosphere. Dinner selections were limited I'm my opinion. However the food tasted very good.
Food was good, service was awful!
We told the hostess we would be sitting at the bar until our table was ready. She forgot we were there and gave away our table. Finally got another table and had to ask if we can at least have our drinks and water while waiting for the food. Food came eventually and was good. Would have been better if they didn't start removing plates before we were actually finished.
Birthday dinner for my wife. Food was superb, excellent wine list for all price levels, attentive service, great ambiance across from Union Station. A fun evening.
Always love this restaurant. Just all around great!
Amazing place for dinner. Went with my mom for an early Mother’s Day and she couldn’t have been happier!
Everything was amazing! I’m from out of state and it was my first time visiting here. The food was so good I wanted to eat there everyday. I would highly recommend eating here.
Venice had great food! A nice date spot. We loved the manager and enjoyed a great time!
Great place for a date night. Order the Grappa de Moscato ..... to accompany your desert.
Thanks to great pitching by the Rockies, we got to the restaurant almost an hour before our reservation. They greeted and seated us right away. From the bread to the chicken Marsala to the tiramisu, the food was delicious. Grazie!
The food was great; however it was SO LOUD in this restaurant I couldn’t hear my date or our waiter just other people’s conversations radiating throughout the room. It was a Saturday night but it seemed the restaurant was overly crowded and not really the quiet romantic Italian spot I was expecting. Charcuterie board was excellent, tortellini was very good, wine choice was also excellent.
We have eaten here before and the service was amazing - this time it was so bad I am writing a review about it. We weren't greeted by a server until we told the gentleman who brought our waters out that it had been 20 mins and no one had even stopped by yet. Ugh.
We ordered two appetizers, the veal meatballs - outstanding - came out quickly and were soooo good! The second, a bruschetta board took so long to get to us we sent it back because we were about to get our meals.
All of our meals were delicious - the best being the seasonal pasta, a fantastic carbonara!
I hope this most recent visit was a fluke and the restaurant takes this review to heart to help their staff serve their clientele better next time.
Last point - we were seated in an outside area with a large commercial heater. We got chilly around 9 and asked for it to be turned on, we were informed it doesn't work and never has. If you are going to seat guests outside you should be prepared to keep them warm when its very chilly outside.
I was so uncomfortable dining here during covid. There was no social distancing whatsoever. Tables, and people, were packed in so close I could reach out and touch the table next to me. I don’t know how they are allowed to pack so many people in and have them so close together.
Worst service my wife and I have ever received at a restaurant. After 20 minutes of waiting after we were sat, we had to ask around for a waiter. Every time we needed something, we had to ask for our server. Tables around us were served and received there food before we did even though they arrived after us and had larger parties. The food was amazing but the service was so bad, it ruined the entire experience.
Brought an out of town guest to celebrate. Had a great time. Food as always was wonderful and service great. Always a fun evening.
Excellent food and atmosphere
Pass on this restaurant. Costs are through the roof compared with a sub-par experience at best in food, service, and ambiance. I ordered a martini and they said they were out of olives then came with olives in the server’s hand. Loud as a nightclub, and the food was at-best average. It is not fine dining or even good dining. An empty and disappointing dinner experience at every level.
We had a great experience at Venice Ristorante. The mozzarella cheese was extremely fresh. Also recommend the sausage and chicken cacciatore.
We have reservations at 6 pm, when we get there the Receptionist she was nice wanted us to wait for awhile it took about few minutes they came took us to our table. And we have two people where Attending to us I don’t remember theirs names but we really enjoyed very much, food was great. I would love to go back again.
Outstanding! We brought our son for his 13th birthday, as he requested a fancy dinner. Alessandro and his staff delivered in every aspect. The welcoming was warm and inviting, our table was set for our reservation and immediately acknowledged our son and had him feeling as special as we hoped the experience would be. The appetizers, drinks and dinner were great! The icing was the Italian style Tres Leches cake and singing him happy birthday 🎂! I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. A big shout out to our waiter, it's true that employees are a direct reflection of their leadership, Alessandro is doing great! Thank you again!
Vacation last night. Food was fantastic! Ambience even in bar area was wonderful and service was top notch. Highly recommend!!
