- SSherryVirginia •4 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a brand new server who did a really good job. His team supported him through the whole evening. Dinner was beautifully executed and freshly delicious. We had a lemony pesto shrip linguini, Caesar salad, gazpacho shrimp shooters and fantasticly creative plant loaf. The wine list was short, but included Willamette Valley and California coast choices. Bottles were half price that night, a no brainer! The patio was the perfect way to enjoy dusk over the lake. We ended up having several meals there throughout our 3 night stay., all were equally wonderful. The burger was of special note!!More infoHarry'sPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Warrenton•4.6

Discover The Plains
For small-town food with big-city influences, The Plains is a solid pick. All of DC's food trends extend here, where they take on a country-casual flair. Virginia is known for its peanuts, and you'll find plenty of retailers offering gourmet snack peanuts in a variety of flavors. No two towns in Virginia approach barbecue the same way. In The Plains, restaurant grill masters create sauces that are heavy on the bourbon and rich in flavor. It's also not uncommon to see brook trout or oysters end up in the grill pit. With its proximity to the Potomac and the coast, The Plains also cooks up not-to-be missed Virginia blue crab and soft-shell crab.
