Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoDelicious prix fixe menu (perhaps a little more than I really wanted to eat, but no single-course option), live piano music, warm service, lovely setting. Great for a solo diner.More infoHaywood'sPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Lexington•4.5

- RRobertVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOur dining experience at the Jefferson Restaurant was excellent and our server, Ahmad, was outstanding. We arrive for our dinner reservation after walking down the 'Tower' stairs, 8 floors, because the elevators were out-of-service. After the meal we had to walk up 8 floors again. A terrible experience for our stay.More infoJefferson's Restaurant at The Omni HomesteadPrice: Expensive• American• Hot Springs•4.6
- JJanetScranton / Poconos •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe really liked the food - a burger and pork filet entree . One glitch in taking our order which resulted in an undercooked burger but they redid the order and comped our dessert which we did not request but was much appreciated. A nice vibe with a good view and friendly staff. We will go again next time we travel thru Lynchburg.More infoSkylinePrice: Expensive• American• Lynchburg•4.7

Discover Lexington
Home to Washington and Lee University as well as Virginia Military Institute, this small college town boasts a variety of restaurants and has a pretty big brunch culture. This area is becoming a major part of the food "counter culture" with many restaurants using locally produced ingredients and offering farm-to-table menus. Highlights of the Lexington food scene include traditional Southern favorites like shrimp and grits, cheese grits, and locally caught catfish and trout over seasonal veggies. This part of Virginia is also farm country, and you'll be hard pressed to find fresher meats or vegetables than those found in Lexington's restaurants.
