Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    We had our niece visiting from Northern Virginia and she was super impressed with Ulele: Location, Cuisine and service. We thank our server, Austin, for the history of Ulele and his attentive service.

    The food was amazing. I got the ribeye med rare. It was excusite. Did not even need A1 sauce. The garlic mashed potatoes were amazing z the green beans were great as well.

    This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to when we travel to Tampa. Everything was delicious and our server, Isabelle, was fantastic. She made sure everything was perfect and helped us to enjoy our experience. The charbroiled oysters were exceptional and our entrees were incredible. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

    It was our first time at Ulele. The atmosphere is hopping and fun. The food was outstanding and the service was professional and on point. Friendly, knowledgeable and always smiling! Would go back and reccomend!

    Very nice choices on the menu. Like trying new foods and ways of preparing foods and Ulele did not disappoint. Five in our party and all enjoyed their meal. Would not necessarily choose this restaurant for a nice, quiet, special occasion meal however as it was sometimes difficult to talk among ourselves for the noisiness of the place.

    OMG, Ulele was a first for my colleagues and I. Maddy was an amazing server. We had a great table where we could see everything. The Riverwalk to our right, outdoor seating was staged to perfection plus the warm sun as we exited to take some pictures…. we questioned ourselves why haven’t we visited this gem sooner. We will certainly we back!
