   Once again, Ulele’s talented culinary and service team made for a birthday celebration to remember. Our server Eddie was exceptionally attentive and thoughtful in his service. We started with delicious okra fries which are so good, could covert a non-okra eater. Next we both enjoyed our seafood dishes. I had the Gouda grouper which was outstanding. My husband had the seafood risotto which did not disappoint. Since it was my husband’s birthday, Eddie offered dessert which my husband ordered the pineapple upside down cake bread pudding with coconut ice cream. My husband was in heaven finishing off the perfect meal with such a creative and delicious meal. Ulele is a great value for the quality of food, service, and ambience so you can enjoy beyond special occasions. Thanks to Manager Mike for making our evening so memorable.

   Our drinks were just passable. One sangria. One espresso martini. Fish was undercooked.

   Great atmosphere to bring family or for a special occasion. The food is excellent.

   Our server, John was friendly and responsive. It didn’t take 5 mins from ordering to receiving our meal. Everything was delicious & quick for our lunch. The place was packed also.

   Never a bad meal, great atmosphere sitting outside Floyd was great served and desserts can’t be beat. Will return!

   Our table (party of 6) was ready on time and had pre-dinner cocktails, but it quickly went downhill from there. Ordered 2 dozen oysters (raw and charbroiled), and 3 other appetizers. Of the dozen charbroiled oysters, 2 of the 12 had no oyster on the shell…just baked cheese filling, as if the shucker just put some empty half shells on the tray and filled/broiled them without any thought. Of the 3 other appetizers, only one was edible. We waited a ridiculous amount of time for our waiter to return for our main entree orders as he was tied up splitting checks for a party of ten (wtf?!). When he finally did come, he took one person’s order and immediately left the table with empty plates. Puzzled as to why he didn’t take all of the orders, he disappears to the kitchen and returns with drinks for the table adjacent. Flagged him down to take the table entree orders and he said he thought we had only intended to order the ONE salad and ONE entree for the ENTIRE table to share…seriously?! Restaurant is half empty at this point and my husband, whose retirement party was the whole reason for this ‘special’ dinner, sat for more than 20 minutes with NO DRINK - despicable service. Over 1/2 hour later, we get entrees…2 were lukewarm, and we were missing a salad that should have been delivered before the main course. One of our party ate his green beans first and literally had to spit them into a napkin as they were so hideously oversalted. None of the meals (or even the salad that was ultimately delivered AFTER the entrees) hit the mark…even if they had been at the right temp or not slathered with salt. I could go on but OpenTable limits characters for reviews. TLDR: save your money and take your ‘fine’ dining business elsewhere.

    Overall, great experience.  the appetizers were amazing. Drinks was pretty good service. Excellent Definitely would go back. Totally enjoyed valet parking.
