Moving through from the hotel entrance, past contemporary and 17th and 18th century Roman silver pieces from the private Bulgari collection, one encounters the granite-clad lounge at the Bulgari Hotel in London. Welcoming and spacious, the lounge features a honed black granite floor and fireplace. Italian-made chairs and sofas covered in special fabrics complete the contemporary look and provide an alluring, spacious context for guests and visitors to enjoy the dynamic atmosphere. The drinks and food menu from Il Bar are available both here and in Il Bar itself. The menu changes throughout the day from breakfast through to light lunches, classic English afternoon tea and nibbles in the evening.

I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. We sat near the fireplace on comfortable couches and it was a perfect place to rest after shopping nearby. The sandwiches served during afternoon tea were so delicious and the variety was wonderful. The scones and other desserts were equally good. We left there so full and even declined our server's offer for refills on anything we wanted. We would definitely return here for afternoon tea on our next visit to London.

Thank you to everyone at Bulgari who made me Birthday special, it was wonderful from the start from the valet to the afternoon food. And the extra they did for me as a request. Thank you again and I will be returning in the future to dine with you again. Jeep up with the brilliant service..

Lovely hotel. Smells fabulous! Staff were all excellent and afternoon tea was abundant and delicious. We were first shown to the lounge for our afternoon tea. Very nice open fire and Christmas tree but absolutely unsuitable for afternoon tea. Very low sofas. Hotel guests sitting working on laptops and general entrance to the hotel. My daughter spoke to someone and they very quickly moved us into the bar area. Much better! I would come again but maybe for a drink at the bar.
