Spur of the moment decision to go out for eats, we didn't want to travel far so decided to check out a more local option. Now that I know how good it is I will be there more often! The food was excellent - leaning towards the gastro-pub rather than traditional pub-grub but not so heavily as to make it pretentious. The waitress that served us was particularly good fun, chatty and friendly once she established we were happy with such a rapport.

We were off to the Odeon and booked this for dinner beforehand. Very good value - varied and interesting menu. Would definitely go back but perhaps later in the day as it was a bit empty and therefore lacking in atmosphere

Having walked past The Landseer on many occasions, we at last went for Sunday lunch pre football and were not disappointed. Good quality food, great beer and a nice location.

The Landseer is a favourite local for a drink or a meal. It has a relaxed atmosphere and excellent staff. Nothing seems a bother and locals enjoy kicking back. Good gastro pub options and a simple tapas range too. Good standard wine selection

It's always tough to find a good Sunday lunch in London but the Landseer's is definitely in the top tier. I'm not saying it's Michelin star quality food, but it's only a tenner a roast, everything's tasty and you get a huge portion. Also it's a great little pub just far enough off the main road that it seems to miss the big crowds, and really nice traditional pub decor with some comfy sofas perfect for an ale and a paper. My only gripe - it's an English pub serving Sunday lunches, so where's the sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble on the dessert menu?!

I feel the whole experience was ruined by one rude waitress.

The Landseer is a gastro pub. It has a very nice light and airy dining area as well as the bar. The food is typical g-pub and the service is ok. There is a good choice of 'real' beer! The toilets are in need of redecoration. I would recommend it if you're in the area (going to Arsenal!).
