The Bull Ring has been a part of Santa Fe’s Culinary landscape for so long it's hard to think of a time when it wasn't there. The world famous Bull Ring offers all the most popular cuts, ranging in size from the the 8-oz petite filet to an enormous 40-oz porterhouse for two. The Bull Ring prepares steaks in an 1,800 degree grill and serves them on a sizzling hot plate with melted butter. The Bull Ring is also known for their juicy lamb or pork chops, mouthwatering barbecue baby back pork ribs or fresh seafood.

If you are looking for a more casual experience, the lounge is a local favorite, where you can mingle with old friends or make new ones in a Cheers-like atmosphere. The bar serves exceptional pub fare, including the succulent Prime Burger.

Starter bread is tough and dry…not and end all be all by any means. Creamed spinach = amazing. Potatoes au gratin = amazing. Ribeye = average. Finished in butter is a great option, but butter is lackluster and oily. Ribeye cut is solid but is bland for pricing. Basic salt and pepper would increase flavor quite a bit. Overall, the Bull Ring is a decent 3.8-4.1, but not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. - j

Wonderful evening at The Bull Ring. The Petit Filet was tender and flavorful as was the New York Strip. The wait staff went the extra mile ! A big shout out to our server Juan…took amazing care of us as my husband and I celebrated our anniversary (24years). Thank you and grateful to The Bull Ring!

We really enjoyed our dinner of petite filet, baked potato, salad and Creme Brule and Key Lime Pie. The baked potato was not as hot as we'd hoped for, but everything else was great. Also, the wine selection was very good. We would definitely return.

While the steaks pleased us, the side dishes were well below expectations. The onion rings were good, but the fries were soggy. And the vegetables were presented as a plate of totally bland mush. The service was just ok. Bull ring is a mainstay in town, but they are slipping behind the newer steakhouses who have expanded menus to include much better side options for those who dine with steak eaters, but do not eat steak themselves.

The Bull Ring is our favorite place to celebrate a special occasion because the food and service is always great. Best place for steak and lamb chops, cooked perfectly always. Desserts are so good, we had the chocolate mousse and strawberry cheesecake as a birthday surprise and both were delicious. The house salad was much bigger than I thought it would be maybe next time I will share it.

Some in our party had seafood, others steaks, and one lamb chops. All were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The appetizers and sides were large and excellent. Great place!
