Great dinner and atmosphere . Service was great too. My wife didn’t like how much garlic they had in her meal, they replaced it with a new one- no questions ask.
Wow! Incredible food, great staff love the historic setting. A true neighborhood gem .
Forewarning parking is a bit tough but worth it!
Great ambience and even better food! Excellent for a date!
We get here several times a year and are never disappointed in either brunch or dinner. Great food which is creative, great homemade bread and omelets.
Held a surprise birthday party with 10 guests. Restaurant provided secluded room and permitted some guests to arrive early for decorative "set up".
Food and service was outstanding, even though a little heavy on price.
Restaurant located in mountain surroundings with the 100 year old + building retaining a lot of its' original architecture and ambiance.
Restaurant staff was great and went out of their way in providing a very nice experience.
This fine restaurant enjoys one of the finest mountain settings in all of Colorado...AND the log building is a charming reminder of the early days of Evergreen, yet there is no compromise in the delicious food, the excellent service and the warm atmosphere offered. We've had wonderful dinners there. We recently did the Sunday brunch and we'll definitely be back again.
Wonderful experience every time we've been there. Love going there.
The food is always great! Wonderful wine selection as well. Enjoyed it very much. Friendly staff and nice ambience.
We love this Neighborhood gem of a restaurant. Worth the drive from Denver to visit and taste the excellent dishes.
I have been coming to the Bistro At Marshdale since I moved up to the Conifer area 6 years ago. This restaurant is a diamond in the rough and the first time I dined there was completely unexpected. The food there is prepared and executed with precision. The menu changes with the seasons as well as they have their house specialties which remain my some of my favorites time in and again. The location for someone coming from the city is a beautiful drive coming up the canyons into the foot hills. The restaurant itself is rustic and provides an intimate environment for a couple on a date to a small birthday party. Again and again this restaurant has been my go to for an amazing dining experience in which I don't have to drive 35 minutes into the city.
The Bistro at Marshdale is simply perfect! Your meal starts with fresh baked, dense bread with olive oil and ends with scrumptious desserts from which to choose and everything in between is fabulous! This visit found us ordering Chicken Wellington for the second time....it is crave worthy! The special for the evening was a lobster tortellini in a cream sauce-amazing! So light yet still decadent! And our dining companion who ordered halibut proclaimed it “the best ever”! The service is always top notch and the bar pours generous drinks! Already looking for our next excuse to make our way from the city to the Bistro!
We celebrated our 57th anniversary at the Bistro. Food and ambience really wonderful. KC, our server, was outstanding. Had the best tomato bisque I've ever had, plus discovered a new white wine that has become my favorite. We have always had great food at the Bistro.
The food was nothing short of phenomenal, KC our waitress was fantastic and the atmosphere was lively and energetic. A true neighborhood find.
We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. We were looking to go somewhere “different” and this was not only a beautiful location, but the food and service were excellent!
Such a beautiful restaurant with great staff! Their drinks were tasty and the food was outstanding. Very romantic.
We were all very happy with our choice of a special night out, will remember that night forever!
Celebrated a surprise birthday dinner with 2 other couples. Service was great, never rushed, which was important since there was a lot of conversation and catching up before we actually ordered. Everyone loved their meals too. Great funky fun old building with super food.
Noisy, crowded, food wonderful, service person overwhelmed. Probably might rethink coming on Sunday morning again.
A delightful Sunday brunch with a good friend. Another beautiful day in Evergreen.
A local restaurant we’d yet to try. We were delighted with the friendly atmosphere and wait staff. Service was excellent, and the food was very good to superb. I had three appetizers for my dinner. The house salad and ricotta dumplings were outstanding, and the black mussels were very good, as was the Lemon Thyme Vodka cocktail. My companion had the soup of the day - a black bean corn chowder and the pene with smoked salmon vodka sauce. Both were excellent.
This place is great! The whole experience keeps me going back.
Cute environment, with live piano player. Drinks were good. Wait staff and food left me wanting more. Hostess and servers assistants were amazing.
Service is always excellent. Food is always well prepared (didn't really care for mango on my halibut though).
Love The Bistro at Marshdale! Great food and the most friendly owner and staff around!
Great food and service
We had one our best food and atmosphere donning in Bistro.
One of our favorites. Took my fiance here after we got engaged, taken my parents here for a nice dinner getaway from Denver - all around impeccable service for a fair price. Food is always delish and great for winter or summer. In the winter, enjoy a roaring fire while you eat...in the summer you have a perfect cool setting at 7000 ft in Evergreen.
I generally do not like mushrooms, however, the Chicken Wellington was awesome as were the mashed potatoes. We had never had Creme Brulee and it was wonderful.
The porch was rather warm that time of evening, though there was a cooler to help cool the area a bit. Still a a little warm. All else was good, good, good.
The Bistro at Marshdale is wonderful! Such a beautiful restaurant in a great location. Excellent food...the best lamb I have ever had!!
The service and food were exceptional and priced well for such fine dining. Actually hadn’t been here before because we thought it was super expensive. The rack of lamb was the best my husband had ever had and I loved the salmon. I waitress Erin was friendly and attentive. It was a great anniversary dinner. Looking forward to going back!
The food was fine. More than average. But the prices were way too high so poor value
Another wonderful evening with great food and service!
We has planned to have a great birthday lunch and when we arrived we realized that it was only a brunch option and nothing else on Sundays. Such a bummer. And reservations were made for 2pm but when we were seated they rushed us to order because the kitchen closed at 2pm....why seat us if they are closed and more over why let us make a reservation? The fact that we were rushed in and out was the worst part. We will try it again but will do better research before we go. I hope they do better next time to make guests feel welcome and not an inconvenience for wanting to give them business.
We had an excellent meal and experience. They accomodated our special requests and the food was delicious. This is a destination restaurant for the Evergreen area.
We celebrated my 40th birthday here for dinner recently on a night away in Evergreen. The food is amazing! I had the filet mignon (with an amazing caramelized onion-type jam) and chive mashed potatoes. My husband had the lamb chops and sweet potatoes. We shared the bison meatballs as an app and had the Belgium chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was fabulous! And a nice touch to have a live piano player there, too. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend and has a nice lodge, mountain setting and somewhat casual atmosphere for such great cuisine. Service was great, too.
We recently visited for a special occasion. Reserved a table online and requested that the restaurant make our visit as special/romantic as possible. They went above and beyond. The service was amazing, there was a piano player, rose petals, chocolate truffles, and the food was very enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!!!!
Been a couple years since last went to this establishment. The service and food is still excellent.
Lovely spot that oozed ambiance. So welcoming and cozy, with the smell of pine trees mixing with amazing smells,....oh my
We again took out of state guests to the Bistro at Marshdale. We drive past the buffalo, and get to the best restaurant in Colorado.
