Great dinner and atmosphere . Service was great too. My wife didn’t like how much garlic they had in her meal, they replaced it with a new one- no questions ask.

Held a surprise birthday party with 10 guests. Restaurant provided secluded room and permitted some guests to arrive early for decorative "set up".
Food and service was outstanding, even though a little heavy on price.
Restaurant located in mountain surroundings with the 100 year old + building retaining a lot of its' original architecture and ambiance.
Restaurant staff was great and went out of their way in providing a very nice experience.

This fine restaurant enjoys one of the finest mountain settings in all of Colorado...AND the log building is a charming reminder of the early days of Evergreen, yet there is no compromise in the delicious food, the excellent service and the warm atmosphere offered. We've had wonderful dinners there. We recently did the Sunday brunch and we'll definitely be back again.

I have been coming to the Bistro At Marshdale since I moved up to the Conifer area 6 years ago. This restaurant is a diamond in the rough and the first time I dined there was completely unexpected. The food there is prepared and executed with precision. The menu changes with the seasons as well as they have their house specialties which remain my some of my favorites time in and again. The location for someone coming from the city is a beautiful drive coming up the canyons into the foot hills. The restaurant itself is rustic and provides an intimate environment for a couple on a date to a small birthday party. Again and again this restaurant has been my go to for an amazing dining experience in which I don't have to drive 35 minutes into the city.

The Bistro at Marshdale is simply perfect! Your meal starts with fresh baked, dense bread with olive oil and ends with scrumptious desserts from which to choose and everything in between is fabulous! This visit found us ordering Chicken Wellington for the second time....it is crave worthy! The special for the evening was a lobster tortellini in a cream sauce-amazing! So light yet still decadent! And our dining companion who ordered halibut proclaimed it “the best ever”! The service is always top notch and the bar pours generous drinks! Already looking for our next excuse to make our way from the city to the Bistro!

We celebrated our 57th anniversary at the Bistro. Food and ambience really wonderful. KC, our server, was outstanding. Had the best tomato bisque I've ever had, plus discovered a new white wine that has become my favorite. We have always had great food at the Bistro.

A local restaurant we’d yet to try. We were delighted with the friendly atmosphere and wait staff. Service was excellent, and the food was very good to superb. I had three appetizers for my dinner. The house salad and ricotta dumplings were outstanding, and the black mussels were very good, as was the Lemon Thyme Vodka cocktail. My companion had the soup of the day - a black bean corn chowder and the pene with smoked salmon vodka sauce. Both were excellent.

One of our favorites. Took my fiance here after we got engaged, taken my parents here for a nice dinner getaway from Denver - all around impeccable service for a fair price. Food is always delish and great for winter or summer. In the winter, enjoy a roaring fire while you eat...in the summer you have a perfect cool setting at 7000 ft in Evergreen.

The service and food were exceptional and priced well for such fine dining. Actually hadn’t been here before because we thought it was super expensive. The rack of lamb was the best my husband had ever had and I loved the salmon. I waitress Erin was friendly and attentive. It was a great anniversary dinner. Looking forward to going back!

We has planned to have a great birthday lunch and when we arrived we realized that it was only a brunch option and nothing else on Sundays. Such a bummer. And reservations were made for 2pm but when we were seated they rushed us to order because the kitchen closed at 2pm....why seat us if they are closed and more over why let us make a reservation? The fact that we were rushed in and out was the worst part. We will try it again but will do better research before we go. I hope they do better next time to make guests feel welcome and not an inconvenience for wanting to give them business.

We celebrated my 40th birthday here for dinner recently on a night away in Evergreen. The food is amazing! I had the filet mignon (with an amazing caramelized onion-type jam) and chive mashed potatoes. My husband had the lamb chops and sweet potatoes. We shared the bison meatballs as an app and had the Belgium chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was fabulous! And a nice touch to have a live piano player there, too. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend and has a nice lodge, mountain setting and somewhat casual atmosphere for such great cuisine. Service was great, too.

We recently visited for a special occasion. Reserved a table online and requested that the restaurant make our visit as special/romantic as possible. They went above and beyond. The service was amazing, there was a piano player, rose petals, chocolate truffles, and the food was very enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!!!!
