Texas de Brazil - Denver Ratings and Reviews
Recommended by a friend for my birthday and we loved it! Delicious salad bar with beautiful presentation. Flip your coaster over when you are ready for meat, and servers arrive at your table with a selection of beef, pork, lamb and chicken on huge skewers for your selection. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and top notch service.
Every time I come to Denver, I must experience dinner here with, preferably, a large group. The ‘salad bar’ offers such an impressive variety of choices that you can, if you do not exercise self-control, easily fill yourself with it’s attractive, delectable, broad-ranging offerings (the lobster bisque is my favourite, never-miss choice). The biscuits brought to the table are tasty with a uniquely outstanding chewy texture. My drink was their ‘special’ and extremely fresh with just the right amount of sweet. The cooked bananas went over big at our table, most of which had not had them before. But the main reason for going, of course, is the brilliant, diverse, impressive meat offerings. Beef, pork, lamb, sausage, chicken, bacon-wrapped... it truly is ALL good. Options from well done to rare, fatty to lean, zingy rubs and marinates. Remember to give yourself time by flipping your card to ‘red’ so you don’t stuff yourself too quickly, as we often do... because it’s so easy! Their dessert offerings are huge portions and all an inspired finish, from the carrot cake to the chocolate cake to the creme brûlée. We also enjoyed the creamy tequila aperitif as a toast to a grand experience. Your water glass is always full and our service is as good as it gets. All-in-all, I recommend Texas de Brazil in Denver highly!
The food was very good.
The only thing I had s problem with is the flank steak was way under cooked and we asked Twice for more well done piece.
And the manager never came to our table.
Other than that it was a excellent dining experience.
The waitress nicole was very attentive you our needs
Our waiter and service was amazing......the food was awesome other than the flank steak that was salty, other than that not a single negative the servers of the meat were fun quick and personable...the waiter would speak and smile he wasnt a robot to his job!! Service food and your abilty to adapt to our mother who was in a wheel chair was amazing!!! Wheel chair people feel they come w a stigma, having to move chairs in front of them, arrange in front of them....it was nice she could just wheel up to the head of the table and have her place set like ours, and was part of the group vs. the adjust seats, settings, places at the table to accommodate her.....makes her feel like a spectical, and lesser as our seats r alea5ys ready! So thank u for having her a spot ready for her and her being a "normal" customer. Its a big deal for people like her.
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday since we had never been before and we both had a really enjoyable experience. Everything was cooked well and you get the food so fast it’s amazing. The food tastes fresh off the grill every single time which is nice bc sometimes at other restaurants my steak will be cold by the time I’m finished eating. I’ll probably be going here a lot more because I enjoy lots of meat, but their potatoes and salad bar was really nice too.
I expected it to be a little more upscale. The service was great but everything else not so much. I'm not a picky eater but even I noticed that about half of the meat selections were very salty. The restaurant itself is big and a bit on the noisy side. Good for large groups, but not for a couple.
Found them to be similar but lesser than Fogo. The flavor of the food was great, but even though their menu says they have lamb chops and filet mignon, neither were served for the duration of over an hour there. They kept bringing by the chicken and pork, pushing that, and only once did we see the leg of lamb. I suspect because their lunch crowd aren't as high paying as their dinner crowd, they hold off on making the more expensive cuts. If you have kids of any age, it's cheaper to go here, especially after getting the gift certificates from Costco, however don't expect the finer cuts. Expect to pay $25 for all you can eat sirlion, pork and chicken...
The servers weren't on top of bringing drinks or the sides either. I drained my drink during the first 20 minutes and had to drink water for the duration because no one except those with meat came by.
I give it a 3 star because it was okay, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. I would have liked to have the lamb chops and filet... and perhaps a second drink. But for $25, it's not bad.
Service was Exceptional, food was great, whole experience was five star. We were seated within less than five minutes of our arrival after we were seated waiter was with us within less than five minutes We had a great experience. Definitely planning to come back.
I haven't been for a few years because i no longer lived near there, but i was in the neighborhood and wanted to go back. I was very excited, but it wasnt how i remembered it. The steak was a bit more tough than id like. The pork was dry and even difficult to cut through. Some of the meats were salty -and i love salt. I know this sound ls pretty bad, but it overall was still delicious. Their potato au gratin was tasty and their salad bar was good too. I prefer their salad bar and Brazilian bread over Fogo De Chao. Service was great, except for one person who kept on calling one of the guys at our table, "buddy." Thought that was weird. Anyway, still good service, nice ambience and yummy food. I'll be back.
Had a great time for our Christmas party! Everyone was polite. The food was amazing as always. They did turn the lights of on us when we were done eating which bothered me. Granted it was passed closing time. But if that were the case they shouldn’t have seated us. They did, a party of 16. So keep all the lights on until we leave. Duh.
We’ve been to many Texas de Brazil restaurants and this is by far the worst service we’ve ever had at one. On multiple occasions, the servers said they’d bring an item and then had to be asked again several minutes later (we waited 20 minutes for bananas, 10 minutes for a clean plate). After the first four minutes they started rushing us to leave. They began clearing plates and side dishes while we were still eating! At one point the waitress asked if there was anything else we needed or any other cuts of meat we’d like to try, but only two types of steak had even been by the table. I’d say the meal was worth about $75, but we paid $262! Not worth it at all.
The food is always good and the salad bar is amazing! The service however was not that great. It was my father in-laws first time and he was trying to strike up conversations with the meat men but they seemed annoyed that he was talking to them. At the beginning of service, we had 3 waitresses assigned to our table (party of 8) but hardly could find them when needed. Hardly worth the almost $500 Bill at the end (And before you think its becaise of the alcohol bill, we only had 1 glass of wine and 2 desserts)
Horrible experience! The heat was out in the restaurant and naturally it was the coldest day of the year so far. The restaurant was so cold we had to eat in jackets and beanies. The meat that was being served was nearly raw including the chicken. Not sure if they were having issues with the kitchen equipment but this was unacceptable. Our waitress acted as if she was being put out to have to wait on us. This was our first time at Texas de Brazil and will definitely be the last time we go there.
The food was overall good, but all the meat dishes (except the lamb chops) were extremely salty. Some were so salty I just left them on the plate. The preparation was good and the quality as well, but again a lot of the meet was nearly impossible to eat due to the extreme level of salt. Only a super salt lover could eat the meet.
We’ve been to this location many times and our service this time was the worst we have had. We had Ashley as our server. She wasn’t very friendly or attentive. We had to ask for refills, ask to see the dessert tray. She seemed upset when we asked why it was so cold because of the draft by us. The restaurant ran out of Red Bull. Not our best visit.
When I arrived I was greeted with a smile.the two managers on duty were very nice and the waiters were nice but the only thing was the cooks were terrible ..the lamb was not even cooked at all and the prime rib was under cooked to the point where blood was oozing out! Grossed me out...then when I asked if he could bring me some that did not have blood coming out...he brought me some prime rib that was burnt!! Not to mention before we could even finish eating some turned off all the lights in the entire restaurant..i thought that was cruel!
I've been here several times and had positive experiences each time. The place is beautifully decorated and clean. The service is great and the food was delicious. It's a meat lover's paradise and they offer so much more. I loved the jasmine rice and the mini breads.
