Very pleasant. The food was good - the cheese plate was excellent! I will be going back and am happy too have discovered this. I'm local but was not familiar with the restaurant.
They acknowledged at check in that it was a special occasion, as indicated on the reservation. But it was never mentioned again! A disappointment since I was surprising my husband with a special evening to recognize his retirement:(
But only a slight misstep at a place that we love and always find outstanding.
Outstanding experience. We sat on the front porch as requested and it was a gorgeous evening. The bruschetta was fabulous. The server/ bartender Jennie was great at suggesting wines. We will be back to dig into more of the wonderful menu!
Our entrees were great, and our wine selections, too! Such a nice setting surrounded by beautifully kept plants. Great ambiance, food, and wine, the perfect combo!
Food was disappointing here! Spicy friend green beans tasted like onion rings and the sauce was not spicy. Our salmon and veggies was barely warm even though the plate was hot. Ambiance is cool - in an old Pueblo. The wine was the best part of the meal.
Food was excellent. We enjoyed the outdoor seating
Extremely overpriced wine. Food was fine.
Great experience, excellent service, and tasteful food.
Food and service was great, and it is a nice quaint place.
We were in Santa Fe for a couple of nights and walked to Terra Cotta from our nearby hotel. We'd reserved a front porch table because we were bringing our miniature Schnauzer along. The staff were very pooch-friendly and brought him a bowl of water along with our own drinks. We shared a number of small plates as we weren't hungry enough to go for the full monty. The onion rings and the bruschetta were excellent, our wines by the glass even better. We'd go back for sure if we found ourselves in Santa Fe again. Never felt that the constraints of the pandemic had altered Terra Cotta's level of service nor the quality of its cuisine.
As always, the food was excellent. I had the fish and chips and my spouse had the crab cake. Both were very good. We sat in the covered outside garden room. There was a light breeze which made it delightful. Erasmo, our server, was efficient as always. The garden room was almost full but we did not have to wait for dinner or our check. All in all a very pleasant evening.
Always a good experience. Consistently outstanding in everything!
Sat on front porch. Great food and atmosphere.
It was wonderful!
Very nice little restaurant that has great staff members and a good overall atmosphere. A little over priced for the quality of food, but I would recommend.
Excellent overall. Quiet, delicious food and wine.
Terra Cotta is always a solid choice for a well-rounded menu with something for everyone as well as a fantastic (and reasonably priced) wine selection. We always enjoy our experience here and find it pleasantly affordable in a town where prices get out of hand quickly.
Cute place, food was average - got a Caesar salad that was like it had been previous day. The meals were other wise fine. The service was very good. It is a cute bistro environment.
Wine and food were excellent. I have a lot of food allergies/intolerances and the waitress and kitchen did an outstanding job of accommodating my needs.
Smallish menu with several things I’m not interested in such as two deep fried, breaded options, red meat or a barbecue plate. What I chose (fish) was good.
This was a really cute place. We do not recommend the bruschetta. It was chewy, cold, and flavorless. The olives and pesto were good. We ended up cancelling the rest of our order, and it was still $70.
The food and the service was wonderful. We ate on the front porch surrounded by a rose garden. It was a lovely experience all around.
We sat at the bar and had a wonderful dinner! Locally owned and operated. Met the Chef/Owner who was checking on people to make sure all was good. Noticed Great service throughout the restaurant. Will go back when in Santa Fe.
Both of us in my party had the salmon and it was delicious. The wine was excellent, the service attentive. We were really pleased
Unique establishment with delicious food and great value happy hour wines. Quirky but fun.
We enjoyed dining outdoors on the back patio. Service was prompt and friendly throughout. The shrimp risotto appetizer was delicious. We both had the fish and chips which was very good. They use grouper and the fish was, fresh, flaky and flavorful. The key lime pie was terrific. Wonderful casual dining experience.
Going to TerraCotta is like being in a good friend's kitchen - it's always warm and friendly and laid back, we always know we are going to get absolutely fabulous wines and food and we always leave happy. We personally prefer sitting in the bar area for it's quaintness and because the owners are always around and fun to visit with. However, we've had several great times on the back patio too so I guess I'd have to say that there is not a bad seat in/out the house!
Good wine selection, watermelon salad was excellent.
Nice evening dining outside to celebrate birthdays. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Everything was perfect for the evening with good friends.
Very good food. Salads were good. Portuguese pasta was excellent. Crab cakes were very good. Creme brûlée was very good. Mango sorbet was outrageously good. Prices are very fair, especially wine. Front patio was ok, but a little noisy and windy.
We loved this restaurant. Nice simple area to eat outside, covered by an unobtrusive tent so we were fine when it rained. Food excellent -- go for the watermelon and feta salad! The service also very high quality. We will come back!
Very nice ambiance and a great meal. Excellent service from Janet and a special thanks to the hostess for seating us although we were very early due to an impending storm! We had crab cakes and fish and chips both were delicious. Varied and extensive wine list too. Well worth a visit. One problem is parking. If you’re staying in Santa Fe within walking distance do so.
Wonderful experience with an incredible server!
Wonderful food, charming atmosphere, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Homey ambiance, terrific wine list, friendly people
We were greeted by the friendliest host. We were seated at a very comfortable table with a lovely view of the garden. The server, host acknowledged our anniversaries. It was a beautiful experience. The food was fabulous!
Staff had an attitude as soon as we walked in with 2 kids in tow even though it was labeled as kids friendly on one of the social review websites. When we pointed out that one of the wine glasses were dirty, we were told to “relax”. When we remarked that the wine we tasted was sweeter than we’d prefer and wanted a different recommendation, the server has a tone that bordered annoyance. The food was nothing to rave about and certainly didn’t deserve then price tags. The kids pastas they said they could make was so small in portion that one of the 2 kids (age 8) did not have enough to eat. We then found out when we got the check that the kid portion that didn’t sustain a kid would cost $12!! Well, we will make sure to note for ourselves and any other friends visiting Santa Fe to avoid after the treatment and lessons we got.
We had a party of four and everyone had something different. All entrees were wonderful, the onion rings were fabulous, and the desserts were great. Highly recommend.
I would not recommend. The waitress was very rude and rushed our dining experience. My companion's ratatouille was merely a bowl of chopped sauted vegetables.
