TerraCotta Wine Bistro
Our varied menu features both large and smaller portions of daily entrees that encourage guests to sample and share a number of dishes.
TerraCotta Happy Hour continues all day long, with over 60 wine by the glass options available for $6 every day until 6pm.
Lovely atmosphere. Nice wine selection. Their appetizers and small plates are some of the BEST.
The wine selection and quality is excellent. The food was underwhelming and brought down the overall quality of the experience
Great food and wine list.
This is a lovely restaurant, easy to get to and the owners are terrific. We ate well and enjoyed the service and the ambience.
We love this Santa Fe restaurant and made it our special meal on our latest visit. Quiet, great food and nice atmosphere but not snooty. Always flavorful and save room for dessert. Extensive wine menu . We felt very covid safe , ate indoors they have outdoor patio also.
We were so happy to dine at Terracota again. The service was excellent, food delicious, and the ambiance made us forget the Covid year we just came through! We look forward to dining at Terracota again soon.
We sat near the bar and the bar keep kept a careful eye on us. Arriving before six p.m. we were eligible for $6 glasses of selected wines. I ordered my 2nd glass a few minutes before six and she waited until I finished glass #1 “so my second glass would be cold”. Our small plates, crab dip and the bruschetta were delicious. So glad we found this place.
I do not give five stars easily. But this place, even through this miserable last year, has maintained their full menu, with service and food quality never dropping in the least. We have found very few restaurants we can say that about. It is wonderful to return to our favorite restaurant in Santa Fe and find them just as amazing as ever! Thank you, Terra Cotta!
Fabulous wine selection and delicious food to match. Service was great and came with a smile. Loved our evening at Terra Cotta Wine Bistro. It was our first visit to Santa Fe and our meal will definitely be remembered!
Small friendly place with wonderful food and service.
Quaint little spot with great food, beverages, and service. Wine list is nice and the food offered pairs nicely with any wine you may choose. Hostess was also one of the owner's and visited with us at our table. Made you feel welcomed and appreciated, and leaving you wanting to come back again!
Lovely place to have a special dinner and excellent service! Small but adequate menu with a variety of choices! Service was quite good and attentive! Food was displayed well and delicious! A lovely restaurant for a bottle of wine and a great dinner!
Excellent meal and ambiance.
Great food and wine! Large portions for a wine bar. Friendly service.
We had an amazing dinner and will be back again for sure! One of my née favorite places to go in Santa Fe. Food and wine were fantastic, service was wonderful, and really enjoyed the charming and cozy space. Thanks for a great experience!
Terra Cotta has an excellent wine list and very good food. The hostess/owner remembered my name and seated up in a nice corner table. The appetizer was delicious (Oysters Casino) and the entrees were excellent.
The service is always quite good.
The ambiance and atmosphere is relaxed and soothing.
This was our best ever meal at TerraCotta. We visit whenever we are in Santa Fe.
Thankful that service was opened for indoor dining. We enjoyed having a nice meal out with great service.
We had an excellent meal. The food was delicious and the service was great. They have a wonderful selection of wines. We ordered the Bruschetta which was a sampling of 4 different offerings. They were all very good. We would recommend TerraCotta Wine Bistro highly!!
the setting is lovely and we received great service. the appetizer onion rings and bruschetta choices were great. the salads were good but nothing special and the chicken and grits was just ordinary. will try again since we liked the atmosphere.
All of the food was excellent, especially the roast chicken. Superior wine list. Fine and friendly service.
Enjoyed our dinner at TerraCotta Wine Bistro! Quaint restaurant with good service and excellent food! We enjoyed our meals and well as conversation with other diners!
We were expecting a restaurant focused on wines, given the name. Not the case. The wine list was quite ordinary unless you were going to spend a lot of money. There were so offered tastings or wine flights; no pairings suggested; no offered advice for any unusually excellent wines. It’s just a restaurant. And the food that we had - bruschetta appetizers, French onion soup, salad and crab cakes - were that “just” food. Given the excellence of Santa Fe’s restaurants, I’m sorry to say this place fells short. Service was not good either - we waited for quite some time before a waiter stopped - and he was rushed - it seemed they were short-handed. Perhaps they are just getting their feet back under them from the pandemic.
Friendly service, good food and wonderful atmosphere. All with an extensive and reasonably priced wine list. Definitely worth a visit.
We were visiting from San Francisco and had the most delightful meal. A gem. Delicious food and wonderful wine in a charming setting.
I love eating at Terra Cotta Wine Bistro. The menu has so many great things that it's hard to decide what to eat. Wine list is expansive and has something to offer to all pocketbooks and categories. I'm looking forward to returning as well as going at 5 o'clock for small plates and reduced-prices for wine. I love the warm, cozy ambience. Almost like going to a friend's house for dinner.
This is a fantastic restaurant! I highly recommend. They do “$6 Before 6” which is where you can get wines by the glass for $6 before 6pm!! The food was delicious, especially the crab/ricotta/cheese dip and the bruschetta board.
Everything was exceptional as usual. Chef Cathrine's cooking is wonderful. And our waiter, Michael, was great. Keep up the good work!
Wonderful experience. Best fish and chips in Santa Few and great wine list. Friendly and homey staff.
Awesome Portuguese Pasta. Erasmo was courteous and efficient. We live here and Terracotta is one of our favorite restaurants.
Cozy cottage atmosphere with simple delicious appetizers, mains and extensive, well priced wine list. Outstanding dishes are the to die for onion rings as appetizer and planked salmon entree. Terra Cotta has that off the main strip neighborhood hang out vibe, and great service, as well.
The food was outstanding. The French Onion soup is very good and the Bread Pudding is probably the best bread pudding I've ever had. The texture and taste are absolute perfection!!!
Wonderful experience! Food and service was top-notch and the ambiance can’t be beat.
Sea bass was very good and enjoyed excellent service
Wonderful surprise for such a small place.!#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so we've done all the fine dining in Santa Fe- been coming here for many years- but sometimes you want a great meal, pleasant surroundings, friendly service and a fair price- we've never been disappointed here- really ( I mean really!) great food, many great wine selections, and peaceful surroundings- So glad we spent our last night here instead of Geronimo's _ not to dis Geronimo's -it's always good, but we wanted something more low key, and the food was great! great appetizers , bruschetta , entrees - had a fresh clam/ sausage pasta dish that really hit the spot ( had the filets/ rich fish dishes other places). Key lime pie as good as anywhere. The folks running this place are great! Can't say enough good things about Terra-cotta ! Price fixe menu - soup/ salad - entree- desert for $40! Bargain! Not a lower-end restaurant by any means, but can compete with all the great restaurants! We will definitely come back again- you gotta try it!!
We were reeled in by all the positive reviews and the promise of a patio table near a heater. But it turns out the good reviews were mostly pre-covid and the more recent reviews (which aren't so good) better reflected our experience. Our waitress (who had straight, short blond hair) was one of the most unfriendly people ever. She grunted in annoyance every time we asked for something and rushed us through our meal. She didn't want to take our drink order and clearly wasn't going to bring us a second round, so we didn't even bother to ask. The food was okay, but not amazing (onion rings and bruschetta were high points; branzino and bread pudding were distinct lowlights). It got cold, so we finally asked her to light the heater (she obviously wasn't going to volunteer, since she wanted us to leave). Instead, she brought the check (even though we'd ordered dessert and it hadn't yet come) and then pretended to try to light the heaters before claiming that they (both) weren't working. It was a total disappointment -- we were so excited to have a night out without kids, and the restaurant/patio otherwise would have been really cute. (And the menu sounded pretty good -- I'd bet that the regular chef just wasn't there on a Sunday night to get the food how it is supposed to be.) Bottom line: the waitress ruined what otherwise would have been a nice night with passable food.
As always, the food was quite good, especially the crab and shrimp dip.
Its and old and comfortable standby for me.
The owners are so awesome!
