TerraCotta Wine Bistro
Our varied menu features both large and smaller portions of daily entrees that encourage guests to sample and share a number of dishes.
TerraCotta Happy Hour continues all day long, with over 60 wine by the glass options available for $6 every day until 6pm.
Good food and excellent server. More reasonable price than a lot of Plaza area restaurants.
Only request would be stronger air conditioning in the summer.
Great food served with care and lovely patio setting. Will definitely return when next in Santa Fe
Great food-- consistently high quality ingredients. Crab cakes a must. Fun crowd. Will make it a regular in my restaurant rotation.
TerraCotta is one of our favorite places in Santa Fe. This visit was no exception. The chef, Catherine, came out front and recommended the roasted spring chicken and explained how she prepared the dish. I have to say, this was the best chicken I have ever had anywhere in the world, literally! Near the end of the meal, Catherine offered to turn my leftover chicken into chicken salad, which they did very quickly. I was presented the salad in a nice box ready to take home. All the staff is experienced and attentive. They work with me each time I go to accommodate my dairy intolerance and provide meals that are outstanding and inventive.
This was our first trip to Santa Fe, NM. We were looking for a casual restaurant within walking distance of our resort and settled on TerraCotta Wine Bistro, and were we glad we did.
TerraCotta Wine Bistro is a small restaurant with a larger outdoor covered patio for those that like the outside experience. They have a small, but comprehensive food menu and a ten page wine menu.
The service was great and the food was excellent. Our server was courteous and took the time to help us select a wine based on our taste and was there to refresh our drinks and take care of our needs. The food arrived promptly on very hot plates. The salads were fresh, crispy and delicious. We split a dessert which topped off an excellent meal.
To top it all off, the chef came out and met with every table. We had a good 5 - 10 minute conversation with her at the table. When we left, she wished us a good evening.
Put TerraCotta Wine Bistro on your schedule for dinner the next time you visit Santa Fe. Ypu won't regret it.
Had a lovely evening at Terre Cotta. Top notch service…the salmon was delicious. My husband didn’t love his fish and chips …too much breading, he said. We ran into the chef while leaving and she was surprised to hear that as she said they only lightly bread the fish. He ate it all so it was certainly acceptable! Will definitely return!!!
We had an outstanding experience dining here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, their recommendations for wine and food was spot on. The restaurant itself had a beautiful ambiance. This is now our favorite restaurant in Santa Fe!
The food was amazing and Chef Catherine personally visited the guests to talk about the food and the restaurant. We left feeling like well-fed family members. A must if you are in Santa Fe!
From the second we walked in everyone was wonderful! Chef Catie was especially amazing and so wonderful with our son. Even separately from the great people the food is the best. We enjoyed bruschetta appetizers, our entrees and delicious deserts. Great wine selection also. I can’t say enough. I will encourage anyone I know who is going to Santa Fe to book a reservation so they don’t miss out.
Wonderful connection with everyone in the restaurant from seating to serving. Live the Brooklyn vibe and incredible knowledge each individual had of the menu and wines. Will definitely recommend this place every chance we get. Asked us where else we were going and they asked us if we had plans (good business practice) and they waved us off one place and strongly recommended the second. Integrity
Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful food. Great service!
Excellent food. We started with an olive sampler, although it was much more than that with pita, pesto, veggies. We were very happy. Our mains were a salad with salmon and thenight's special of branzino. The mains were delicious! The branzino was a generous filet that was cooked perfectly. The salad was diverse in its ingredients and was very tasty.
Lovely restaurant, very good value. Dishes are fairly simple but very tasty and well executed. Went on a Monday and it was very busy, so probably would not go on weekend although they take reservations. Service quite good considering the restaurant was so busy.
As with most restaurants in Santa Fe parking can be a challenge. Look forward to returning!
The owner came out and was incredibly kind, and the food was spectacular
It was great to be back for their excellent service and food!
Parking was difficult. They should mention they have parking across the street in another businesses lot. Wine was good. Bruschetta just average at best. Decided bypass main course and go to dessert, creme brûlée which was average. Waiter was excellent.
What an amazing experience! We had impeccable service from Jenny who also gave us the perfect wine recommendation. Chef Catie came out to chat with us and recommend her personal favorites from the menu. The onion rings were to die for and the beet salad was unique and delicious. We also loved the pear salad--the pears were absolutely delicious.
Very enjoyable wine bar with a very tasty menu
Great Place to have dinner! Everything was 5 stars!
Good and service were great
A pleasant place but the food promised a bit more than it delivered.
The service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was delightful.
We had the pleasure of having the chef drop by our table. She and our friend both grew up in Maryland and had a lively discussion about the freshness of the blue crabcakes and other seafood items on the menu.
What a delightful find. A small French bistro with a small outdoor sitting area. A small and refined menu with high quality ingredients and recipes.
Terra Cotta Wine Bar has excellent small plates, a great wine selection and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We ate outside and everything was delightful. I highly recommend this place for a casual meal or a gathering with friends.
Great restaurant. great food good service.
what else could one want?
Loved it. The food was so good and the wine selection was excellent.
Appetizers were good portions. I was surprised that the $10.00 wedge was very small.
Food was not on par with previous visit. Chicken was dry. They were out of a few wines we tried to get. Another was a newer vintage. Decided to skip on the wine. Desserts were excellent.
Great food great service! One of our favorite places to eat at.
We have been past this beautiful little gem many times and finally gave it a try. It is a quaint little home turned into a beautiful restaurant with a well-attended garden and patio. The food was wonderful, the service, outstanding, and the staff friendly and warm. We will return!
My daughter and I ordered the cheese board and bruschetta. Both very good. We look forward to trying other items on next visit
Great food and service.
TerraCotta was just absolutely lovely! Catherine/Glenda were so hospitable and the cuisine was wonderful. My boyfriend and I enjoyed truly everything! The Ricotta Corn dip was phenomenal and our entrees were scrumptious. You have to get the fried chicken. We can’t wait to come back and would love to try their PreFixe! Thank you again ❤️
The food was great and the staff was exceptional!
Another one of our favorite SF restaurants - always good food, quaint atmosphere , and friendly service. One of best wine selections anywhere - best "by the glass" options. Good variety of dishes- from creative cuisine to "comfort food" i.e. fried chicken and barbecue but steak and seafood options too. Great bruschetta options, soups and salads. We had a delicious cheese plate. I had the portuguese pasta with clams and white wine sauce-delicious! Great deserts too. Not the fanciest restaurant in SF but one of the best for simply good food!
Unfortunately, our entire order (except for 1 shared appetizer and wine) appeared to have been lost in the kitchen or never put into the system by our server??? Two separate tables on either side of us who were seated after us, were served their entire meal and left the establishment before we received our main courses. When management finally became aware that there was a problem, the best they could do is offer up complimentary desert, which we declined since we had planned on serving homemade desert at home after dinner. From what we could tell from the bill, 1 glass of wine may have been comped?!? Food was only fair, with the Branzino overcooked and the salmon nearly raw in the center, after specifically asking the server to make sure that it was done medium-well. As Santa Fe residents we have dined here for many years & have continued to come back. Tonight’s dinner was not a satisfactory experience in a number of ways!?!
We were so happy to see them bustling with diners eager to be out and about with friends and family. We had a fine dinner on their back patio.
We had a most enjoyable evening and look forward to our next visit. Such nice folks.
We ordered the cheese board, French onion soup, and salads for dinner on the lighter side. Service was good.
We would go back
