LOVED this place! My boyfriend and I are both in a restaurant industry and we were reminded why we love it in this restaurant. The menu was large enough to be diverse but still very focused. The spinach-ramp dip and Korean short ribs were phenomenal. Everything was delicious, including the drinks. We had a great time and will be back whenever we come to Seattle! More

Celebrated my 35th birthday here with my husband and it was the perfect low key evening out. The windows were open and the temperature and ambiance of the whole place was very lively for a Wednesday night. My husband told our server, Rachel, that it was my birthday who immediately brought over some bubbles to celebrate. Our experience at Stoneburner is that the food consistently is high quality and decadent - this visit continued that trend. We had grilled ciabatta bread and ricotta cheese, gem lettuce salad, beautifully made tortellini, and a pepperoni pizza. Book now! More

Wonderful experience! Great service, excellent food from the starter “frites” through the cocktails then the main course of “Chicken Oysters” and Halibut - both items outstanding. Love the atmosphere - distinctive with a touch of energy. A Ballard gem. More

Yummy deep dish. Feels so local. I just learned that this is a chain. Seems like they could use a bit more help as things took a while but overall, a great experience. More

We celebrated my friend's birthday there w/a group brunch (8 people) and everything was GREAT! Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. Servers were/are friendly. Food was super yummy and had a nice spin in your traditional dishes. More

Overall it was a great experience. The ribeye, alas, was over done; it was difficult to cut and difficult to chew. Disappointing for a place that is literally named 'Carnivore' and charges premium prices. It was tasty, nevertheless. The sides, however, were superb! I will definitely return. More

The Loft is Amazing! I have been a customer since it was opened several years ago. Many Ballard Bars try to imitate them but few succeed. A great place for people, Not pretentious, no evil eye from locals, and perfect blend of sports bar/cafe/late night spot. I don't know where Dan finds his employees but i have never been treated poorly there. Staff is quick and courteous and friendly. If you haven't been to the Loft yet I assume you just moved to Seattle this week. Check it out now .. Thank me later... More

Discover Ballard

Lined with coffee shops, breweries and boutique clothing stores, Ballard and Fremont are two of the most popular neighborhoods in Seattle. On any given afternoon, young couples can be seen pushing strollers and sipping organic, fair-trade coffee. While you're enjoying the boutiques, satisfy your sweet tooth at one of the many vegan bakeries and cafes. Fremont natives refer to their home as "the Center of the Universe," and for good reason. From steakhouses and contemporary American fare to Hawaiian and Mexican options, locals have access to various types of cuisines. The area is especially noted for its sushi bistros and seafood fine dining.
