Open table allowed us to make a reservation showing that the restaurant was open for business. When we arrived all the lights were on to the restaurant but the restaurant was closed. If your going to offer a 3rd party provider service, then you should notify them to remove your restaurant from availability. Covid restrictions are acceptable with all that is going on in the world, but failing to keep patrons aware of your current hours with any limitations is unacceptable especially when we ended up scrambling to find a restaurant that could take a reservation on a Friday night. You have a responsibility to all consumers to keep your website and any 3rd party providers updated so that consumers don’t waste their time. Very disappointed as your restaurant was recommended, so hope you take action to this feedback.

1st time responding to something like this. The guest's always supposed to be right… not in this case, your review is shameful. I had to close my business & layoff 20+ great employees. OT was turned off & I personally called every reservation to explain & apologize…for closing, less 1 with a bad phone # listed. Sorry you had to scramble to find another restaurant. I'm scrambling not to lose everything. My staff's scrambling to find jobs & pay bills. I hope you take action to this feedback.

Prices have gone up a lot compared to pre-covid. A glass of wine is $15 on average, Pasta entries are 30 plus. Octopus starter included literally a 2 inch piece of octopus! Still delicious food. Pasta was served without any red pepper or parmesan & could not get the attention of the waiter in time to request it. Ordered Budino and received a raisin bread pudding instead, and the waiter insisted that this is our take on Budino! How about serving Pizza as your take on Pasta! The bread pudding was delicious though.

5-star service as always; staff is killing it. Sarto's is trying out a lot of new things during COVID, new items at the bar and on the menu, and they're just killing it with the experimentation during this crazy, sad time. I haven't been out to eat like this since February, but I'm glad I made the exception for my anniversary. Thanks again Sarto's team!

I love Sarto’s and this was a returning experience for me. I’ve been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt since Covid. It does appears that since Covid there are definitely challenges that need to be addressed as this was my second time experiencing service issues since they re-opened. Food was great as usual.

It was a beautiful evening to dine outside - outdoor ambiance reflected well spaced tables, with protocols and not too much passing street traffic but enough to enjoy the neighborhood energy. Food - yummy ... nothing overdone, flavors well developed - a wonderful dining experience.

They ran out of multiple items on the menu. This happened last time that I went there also. There menu is not very large so, it made a difference in the choices of what to order.

We just had the most amazing dinner for our anniversary at Sarto’s restaurant in the Jefferson Park neighborhood in Denver at Elliot and 25th. My new favorite for Italian. I’m already looking forward to going back. We started with the gnocchi tots with aoli and the oven fired ciabatta bread loaf with moretuem cheese spread. Amazing bread! For dinner I had the Maiale- bone in pork chop with creamed corn fregola, Patty Pan squash, poached tomato, and pork jus. My husband had the Pappardelle- hand-rolled herbed pasts ribbons, braised beef, lemon and sun dried tomato gremolata. It was incredibly delicious! Plus the patio seating and the open air restaurant made pandemic dining easy and the ambience was reminiscent of Europe. I’m in love!!

We sat on the patio on a lovely summer evening for an indulgent dinner: steak, cocktails, wine and dessert. Alison, our server, was knowledgeable and pleasant. My rib-eye was perfectly cooked and came with seared gnocchi and an arugula salad. Partner had pappardelle with braised beef and was very pleased. We started with a citrusy gin cocktail and had a Super Tuscan (red) with our meal. Chase the whole thing with lemon cake -- with berries, just sweet enough to be a proper dessert, not so sweet your teeth hurt -- and you have an awesome evening. Quarantine has reacquainted me with my own kitchen and actual cooking, which has been a great thing, but holy cow it's nice to go out.

Bliss! The food was excellent. The atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping it would be. My date and I were able to have fun, enjoy multiple courses and be able to talk without shouting or feeling like someone else was listening in. The staff was very kind, attentive, and insightful. Wish I had discovered this place sooner.

Went here last night for our anniversary and it was amazing! Sarto’s offered a complimentary app and limoncello to show gratitude for its customers during this time, which was very generous and delicious! We can’t wait to go back again and highly recommend Alison F as a server!

Both my friend and I had the duck, which was delicious and is highly recommended. We each had a different salad which was also quite good. We had a very unusual waitress who was quite distracting. We felt that perhaps another job for her would be better. The rest of the staff is fabulous and friendly. The decor is terrific and my friend said she would like to just move in.

It's always such a pleasure to come to Sartos; it's the most beautiful room in the city and every person in the restaurant is so gracious and accommodating. This particular evening, we arrived with aged family members (one in a wheel chair). I called in advance to make sure there was enough room, and I got all sorts of excellent reasurrances. Thank you. Yes! We enjoyed our first visit. We ate early so it was not busy on a Sunday night. Loved the decor. Our server was very nice, possibly new as seemed a bit unsure, but did a good job. We enjoyed our food. Very fresh and nice flavors. I enjoyed the wines I tried. I would go again and wish I lived closer!

My favorite restaurant usually. The noise level of Sunday 3/1/2020 was intolerable. We stayed less than an hour and rush our meal just to get out. Impossible to talk and painful to sit there

This was a return visit for us after a really good meal and experience in their quieter room. When I made the reservation, I asked for their quieter room because I have hearing difficulty. Upon arrival I saw our other couple seated in the main room. I asked the maitre'd if the quieter room was available and that I'd asked for that in my reservation. He accused me of being rude and became pretty crusty. He said that the other room would not be quieter but if I insisted he would check whether it was available (so I guess he hadn't planned on honoring my reservation request). They did move us to the other room...and it was WAY noisier than the last time we visited. The food here is good, better than your average bistro. Recipes are imaginative and the menu seems to change with regularity. Ingredients are fresh. My portion could have been a little larger and the dish was not as warm as I would have liked, but it was tasty. Appetizers and desserts were very good, too. Service was attentive but not over-bearing, which is good. Wait staff was pleasant. Maitre'd was a jerk, maybe he was having a bad day. The room is attractive, white decor and linens, clean and inviting. The noise, however, was oppressive. I had difficulty hearing a good portion of the conversation at our table. We chose the restaurant so we could enjoy the company of our friends along with the meal, and the noise made the experience unpleasant. I wouldn't rule out a return since the restaurant is pretty good ($30 pasta should be good!), but I will opt for more enjoyable atmosphere elsewhere in the future.

The food and ambiance were very good. The only complaint I have is there was a server who was obviously upset about something. Unfortunately, I was seated such that I could see them talking to other members of the wait staff and motioning enthusiastically (in an obviously frustrated/upset manner). It rather ruined my entire dinner. Also, there was no sign pointing customers to the location of the restroom and when my husband asked (unfortunately, this same apparently-upset person) where they were located, he was directed to them, but her subsequent reaction to the other wait staff behind the bar was again a very negative, frustrated over-reaction. In closing, I can only add that if you do not enjoy working with the public, you should most assuredly not work in the service industry.

The server could have been nicer and less pretentious and the food was a little slow in leaving the kitchen. Nearly everything we ordered was delicious, just avoid the duck.
